Onew opened the door to his apartment, and sighed. He placed himself on the couch, in the lifeless room, spacious and wide.
Yes. He was alone again. Another night without someone to wake up with.
Another night to stay cold and alone.
Sure he had a girlfriend. Sure he loved her with all his heart. But there was something different about tonight.
"I don't wanna say goodbye..." He had whispered to her before kissing her goodnight.
He sat on the cold leather couch, running his hand through his hair. He was a quiet soul, never to ask much. He simply surprised people with the sweet romance that was inside of him.
Another sigh escaped his lips as he eyed the rose petals he had trailed around the house for his girlfriend to follow. They would go to the kitchen where a pomegranate lay on a plate, it's fruit spilling all over the pristine white counter.
"Know how much I love you beautiful girl..."
Those words were spelled out from the pomegranate. After she would eat one, the rose petals would continue on, leading back into the living room. He would sweep her off her feet, holding her close in his arms. Later putting her down as they danced to a slow ballad. They would kiss softly, her lips with that faint taste of refreshing mint.
To him, she was the prettiest of all. He only wanted her, and her alone.
He knew though, she could not leave the house, let alone spend a night with him.
He wondered if she knew. If she had gotten the hint.
"Baby goodnight.."
She whispered to him, letting his hand fall back to his side before she walked inside her own house, leaving him bathed in the soft yellow light of the streetlamps.
This is where he would slowly walk home wishing he could hold her in his arms forever.
It was true. His poor soul was lovesick. He wanted her in every way. Simply to love her.
"I'll always love you, girl..."
He would softly mutter this near her ear before leading her to his bedroom.
The soft white sheets beckoning them. Again the contrasting red of the delicate petals would catch her attention. That is..they would simply distract her before he pulled her close again, wrapping his strong arms around her. He wanted her to know exactly how much he loved her.
And that is where he would begin to tell her. Her eyes would close a few hours before the sun greeted them, and his would go over her perfect features, tracing her face.
His hand would move her hair away from her face while his other propped himself up on his elbow. Eventually, he'd fall asleep holding her even closer than before.
They would wake around noon. Onew would rush out of the room, and bring in some coffee and waffles. A squeal of delight escapes her mouth at the sight of the breakfast. And he would smile. Not just any smile though. One that held every ounce of love that had ever coursed through him.
He would take her out around the town, entertaining her over and over. Until the night rolled around again.
"Baby goodnight.."
