"Ma, why did you leave? " Raine said while crying on her mother's shoulder.
"Sorry baby, mama isn't gonna leave anymore. Okay? " Maine said as she caressed her daughter's face.
Raine nodded and continued to hug her mom. She smiled at Maine and wiped away the tears that came from Maine's eyes.
She glanced at her father and smiled at her crying father.
She let go of her mom and ran to her papa. RJ hugged Raine and Meng stood up from where she sat and hugged her husband and daughter.
"I love you, mama and Papa. " Raine said in between muffled cries.
"We love you too, Raine." RJ said. He looked at Maine and mouthed an:
"Are you alright? " to her.
She nodded and closed her eyes.
This was her family, and she was never gonna leave them. Again.
