The concept of joyous love is a fictitious one. Fate entwined disaster with love, always making its way to a person's heart. Such events do occur, though then it seems that love itself does not exist. Love does exist, so does true love. But neither love nor true love is happy in any way.
Such is the curse of humans whose hearts were designed to both give and accept love. Love's mutuality is key; love's duality is shunned. "Choose one, shun the other," the citizens cry, "only the adulterous love two." Love is love; love can't be stopped, there is no time to decide.
