Chapter 2: Encounters

The sunrise peak through Juliet's window as she feels the warm ray on her cheeks and stretched her arms and finally she get up for her day. Looking through her room feeling the wooden floor, the white fluffy sheets on her bed, shady floral cream print on her wall, and her pumpkin candles that reminds you of timeless autumn. She look through the window and seeing others going somewhere and she decided to ready her self too.

As she walk through the hall full of students roaming around since it's free day to them not until the freshmen will come in the evening. As always some student isn't used to her and the stares are always on her, she can even hear them whispering to each others saying...

"Look, here she is."

"Foxtail, she really fit in perfectly tho."

"Isn't that girl with long silver hair with black patronus ?"

"haven't you heard about that greatest wicked witch?"

If they aren't used to her existence, she is used to their nonsense gossips thinking they're just bunch of idiots, haven't they see any other blond haired girl just walking around here? Then back to her business walking to the library.

"Juliet! stop, wait for me!"

Someone just shouted then she looked around to see Nathan Markov, one of the most intelligent student in the house of Ravenclaw. He's waving his hand with a wide smile while running towards Juliet. The students around them was slightly shocked because they didn't expect that Nathan knew Juliet. Well, somehow most of the student know him because he's been a student house representative for 4 years.

"What? go away."

"No, don't be so cold to me my dear childhood friend" *He joined her walking around*

"What do you want?"

"I heard that you are appointed as new house representative"

"Then? what about that?"

"It isn't the one you've always wanted for so long?"

"I was 12 years old that time, Nathan."

"Yeah, I know. You're welcome."

"Stop following me, creep"

"I wasn't. I'm also about to go to library you know."

And she didn't respond this time because she doesn't really engage in senseless conversation and she's better alone. But her childhood friend who's Nathan sometimes join her way because even if they have similar interest they are somewhat actually total opposite. She is used to him that way so she doesn't really mind but to throw him some sarcastic jokes.

When they arrived at library, the student house representatives are actually there talking about something at the corner table. Lily Nilsen for Hufflepuff, Kris Franco for Gryffindor, and Louis Harries for Slytherin. The time when Lily saw Nathan and Juliet, she called their attention. Then Nathan asked them..

"So, what's this thing all about?"

Juliet was just standing there, no sign of talking when it's not required. And Nathan sits down between Lily and Kris while Louis is standing in front of them.

Then Kris responded.

"Well, the headmaster gave me this letter" *he opened the said letter*

"To all student house representative, I would like to inform you that you should be alert later when the ceremony starts. There are some incidents occurring these past few weeks, we don't know what or who's behind this. Keep the students safe, don't worry your professors are ready to help too when something happen. Goodluck. - HeadMaster McGonagall"

"So it means, we're the one who will protect? and wait what is the incidents actually?"

"I don't know, but I heard something. Some of the students around here lost their way and they're started to walk in circles at night, then they heard something behind them casting some long weird spells and losing consciousness. When they woke up they had scars and bruises all over their body and broken wands."

"That's sounds no good"

"I think it's Wicca, once I saw them in the forest miles away from Enchanted Garden" *Nathan looked at Juliet*

"What are they?"

"It's just a low form witch. Just playing around their silly spells, i think. But there might something more than that."

"Okay, for now lets just keep everyone safe. alright?"

Right after when Kris nodded, Juliet excuse herself to look some books.

"Hey Nate, is she always like that?" *Louis walked beside Nathan and lightly put his arms on Nathan's shoulder*

"Like what?"

"Like that you know.. "

"She's okay, she's always like THAT"

"I hope we can work as team even if she's like that tho."

"No worries, when it's needed she's always there."

"She's pretty but whole a lot of... i don't know, something off?"

Lily sits beside Louis with a whole a lot of curiosity in her eyes

"oooh, the student house representative of Slytherin is interested with the Foxtail girl. This will be interesting." *giggling Lily*

"Shut up, it's not like that. We better go now, we should be ready."
