Alexus

I have been moving around for as long as I can remember.  I was adopted when I was a baby.  My adoptive mother works from home and my adoptive father is in the military, which explains why I move around a lot.  I get to go to some really awesome places, but that really isn’t all it’s cracked up to be.  I have very few friends, my best friend is a guy named Alexander, I call him Alex.  His mother is in the military and we have gotten really lucky because we always end up in the same place. It is a good thing I have him because I have never really felt like I have fit in wherever I go.

This time we are moving to Florida and going to Pacific High School.  I thought this was going to be just another high school where I don’t fit in and just hang out with Alex the whole time.  That is... until I saw her… my twin sister, the one I never knew I had.  As soon as our eyes met everything changed.  A hole in my chest that I didn’t  even know was empty, filled and I felt normal again.  The only problem is that we weren’t supposed to meet until we turned eighteen and our powers kick in. Apparently we are a part of some ancient guardian prophecy.  We are only seventeen.  This means that we are in danger for about a year and we need protection.  Just when I thought I was finally normal it gets twice as weird. Why didn’t anyone tell us?

I have lived in Florida all my life, with my two adoptive parents, and have always been happy. Both of my parents are lawyers so I don't see them much which is okay with me. I mean after they told me I was adopted things had gotten a little weird between the three of us. Seeing my friends and my totally hot boyfriend are the only things that keep my mind from wondering who my real parents are. Pacific High School is where i go to school and it is pretty nice.

Everything was going according to plan until she showed up, my twin sister. First I am adopted now I have a twin! Well, just when I thought this school year couldn't get anymore whacked these to boys show up claiming that there job is to protect us. That's when we find out that we weren't supposed to meet until eighteen, so we are in danger for about a year, since we are seventeen. Great, I thought life was hard before she moved here now its just going to get worse. She just had to move to Florida now didn't she.
