When I was little I used to love Easter. The afternoon sunshine used to shin in though the windows after brother and I were done collecting eggs. Then we would eat a delicious dinner and the devour most of our candy.

One Easter night, my little brother and I went and ate our candy out on the front porch and enjoy the cool night air. While we were out side, I started to smell fresh baked cookies. 'Momma is probably making cookies.' I thought. I didn't want any at the moment though, I was getting full off of candy.

We heard rustling in the bushes and a small rabbit popped out. It was so cute! And it's fur looked as if it could of be woven from cotton candy. I chuckled at the silly thought. Must of been the candy getting to me.

I was watching the bunny when Momma opened the door.

"Can you help me with something please?" Momma asked me.

"Yeah, sure I'll be in, in a minute." She nodded and closed the door. I put my candy down next to where I was sitting, got up and walked inside. A few minutes later I heard a shrill scream from outside. I ran out front to check on my brother. When I opened the door, I found him. He wasn't breathing, and his eye glazed over. I looked further and saw the bunny, its snow white coat was splattered withe red. It started to hop twords me. I was startled, I knew I should be scared, it was only a cute little bunny right?

It no longer looked like a bunny. Its eyes were gone, and stubs where the ears were. It had sharp, yellow teeth. It's fur no longer looked like cotton candy.

It was getting close now. All I could do was stare at it though. Next thing I knew, Momma had yanked me inside and slammed the door shut. She would allow any doors that lead out side to be opened. And she only let me go check to see if brother corpse was still there in the morning. It wasn't much of a surprise when she saw that he was gone.
