4 people were left in the tomb. Stiles, Athena, Kora and myself. Kora was still trembling while Athena's tattooed arms started to tremble. Stiles grabbed my hand, squeezing. He was anxious, tired and above all, scared.
"Terra, venti, aqua, ignis. Succurrite eas re consequentiam; Auxilium vivat!" Kora shrieked in Latin.
A few pebbles fell from the ceiling. Stiles's grip didn't loosen, but tightened. All I could think was, I hope this works.Everything fell silent as Kora looked directly at me. The candles were blown out. But I wasn't next to Stiles anymore. I was in a dark, cold coffin. I hit the top as hard as I could. Somebody pulled the lid from the top. Stiles looked down at me, smiling.
"It's- you're alive!" His dorky smile lit up.
"Before we get all over joyed, there was a consequence." Kora spoke.
Stiles lifted me from the coffin."What's that?" I asked.
"Even if Athena didn't die, you still have a burden placed on your shoulders. The spirits spoke to me, telling me you were now something nobody would ever want to be."
"Uh-oh." I whispered.
"What- what happened?" Stiles stumbled with his words.
"You're the anchor to the supernatural world. Every supernatural being that dies, you will feel their pain."
"Wait? What?" I asked, eyes widening.
"If some supernatural being, like Derek or Scott- die, you. Feel. Their. Pain." Athena finally spoke.
"Oh my God. I- Nillin- LOOK OUT!" Stiles shouted. From the doorway of the tomb, Deucalion fired a gun.
"When she died, she was supposed to stay dead!"
A few more shots rang, piercing Kora's shoulder. She fell backwards, blood spurting from the wound. Both Athena and I shot into action. A quick protection spell over the tomb. After the chanting, I kept going, putting one on Stiles.
"Deucalion, if you don't leave, I'll kill you myself."I shouted out.
"Do it! You'll die again and I'll have power!" Deucalion shot back.
I gave Athena a pleading look, she nodded. We both started to chant a decication spell, one that turns the person into a mummy.
"Nullam aliquam ipsum, at corpus dolorem! Hoc est causa doloris, et in aeternum dolorem! Tumulum capit, non visa sint, ne forte in puncto!" The Latin rolled off of my tongue, like a native language.
Deucalion fell, clutching his heart. The parts of showing skin started to turn gray like stone. His face turned into a painful twist. Athena and I just kept chanting, keeping him down. His face turned gray and stone like. Deucalion's body shut down, leaving him hurting and like a statue. He fell, in the same position.
"Nillin! Kora is fading fast! What do I do?" Stiles looked at me.
"Are you okay with blood?" I asked, sliding over to him.
His dorky smile faded as he fainted backwards... Well, that answered my question.
"Come on..." I pulled one bullet out, throwing it over the coffin.
Kora groaned, "It's okay, child. Let me be at peace." She lifted her hand and touched my face lightly, "I'm sorry."
Kora's pulse stopped.I watched as he soul came from her body.
"I'm sorry for the pain." She whispered.
Her fingers reached out, touching my arm. I felt pain, causing me to cry out. Stiles shot up, pulling me to him. The pain didn't stop. The pain went for about three minutes. I finished screaming, and stiles helped me up. He led me to his Jeep, opening the passenger door.
"Let's go back to your place." He whispered.
I nodded, falling into a deep sleep.
