"Your turn!" Jeonghan said as he straighten his back and shift his weight to the righter side of his body. On his hand are the last two remaining cards that would decide his fate. At least that what he likes to call it, much to Joshua's amusement.
Joshua glanced at the sole card he has left before placing his sight on the cards his older hyung is holding. It was his turn to pick a card and it's probably the last of the the game they're playing. I just need to pick the right card, Joshua thought, his right hand extending to the cards infront of him only to be halted by Jeonghan.
"Wait!" The older shouted, slightly startling Joshua in the process. Jeonghan then proceeded on shuffling the position of the two cards with a very serious expression that Joshua had to do his best to keep a straight face.
"Okay. Here you go!" Jeonghan said after finally feeling contented with the changes he did, not that it'll make a difference.
Joshua took that as a sign to finally go on with what he has to do. He resumed extending his hand and went ahead and rested a finger on the left card, peaking up towards the player he's going up against only to find the said player looking at his own cards with knitted brows. Joshua bit his lower lip to stop himself from laughing. He removed his finger from the left card and placed it then on the right card, glancing up to his opponents face who now was looking pleased while trying to keep a smile from breaking out. Joshua almost laughed then, but he knew he had to keep the straightest face he could manage no matter how amused he gets when Jeonghan's expression gave everything away. At least when it's with him anyway. Joshua knew that his hyung acts differently with the other members and he doesn't really know if that's a good thing or a bad thing. Still, he didn't mind spoiling the labeled angel of the group.
When Jeonghan is happy, he'll smile. When he's upset with something, he'll sulk. Cute, Joshua thought as he pulled the card on his right away from Jeonghan's grip. Jeonghan excitedly grabbed Joshua's other card and placed it down along with his card revealing the last matching pair.
"Ha! You lost! Buy me ice cream!" Jeonghan demanded as he immediately stood up and began celebrating his victory. Joshua pretended to be disappointed with the out come as he stood up unwillingly. Jeonghan saw this and began laughing.
"How come you never win this game? It just matching the pairs! It's so easy yet you haven't even won once!" Jeonghan said through his laughter.
"I never intended to win in the first place." Joshua thought to himself but there's no way he'll admit it out loud. His hyung didn't have to know.
"Let's just go get your stupid ice cream." Joshua said as he began walking towards the door followed by a cheery Jeonghan who wouldn't stop talking about his ice cream.
