The Back Up Plan (Camren)

Chapter 14

Lauren and Camila stood at the front door of Cara's house and it was cracked open. Still in their pajamas they pushed the door open all the way and Lauren looked over to Camila worriedly.

"I'm confused. Why exactly did you say you'd come?" Lauren whispered.

"It seemed like a good idea at the moment." Camila whispered back.

"Is that Camila!" Cara yelled, waddling over.

Lauren and Camila came in closing the door.

"Hey.." Camila smiled.

"Oh, it is so nice of you to come!" Cara embraced Camila in a hug.

"Yeahh we just wanted to stop by and say Good luck." Camila looked back and forth from Anne to Cara.

"No, No your staying. you have to stay. Cara wants us all here for this." Anne said

"We- we- I - I - really want to-" Camila stuttered but was cut off when Cara put her hands on her shoulder and hunched over.

"AHHHHHHHHH" Cara yelled.

"She's having a contraction" Anne smiled.

"Ugh, Okayy! So uh what were you saying?" Cara stood up once it was over.

"Thi-This is Lauren" Camila said shocked.

"Aww of course!" Anne said smiling giving Lauren a tight hug.

"Uh Hi, Hi" Lauren was so scared. "Congratulations on " Lauren pointed to Cara's stomach.

"Thank you." Cara said. "Why don't you guys get in here. come on!"

"Oh no, no no. This is your special moment-" Camila tried to get out of this but she and Lauren were pulled into the room by the girls.

Lauren and Camila were standing by the table full of food and Lauren was completely nervous and confused. She had no idea what was going on. Camila on the other hand was tired and scared. She didn't want to see this.

"How long do we have to stay here" Lauren whispered over to Camila.

"Let's just wait till it starts and then we'll sneak out"

"Okay"

Anne starts to come over and she's beating a drum.

"It's happening guys. Come on. She's getting in the water." Anne quietly speaks while humming some song.

"The what?!" Camila freaks out. She is so uncomfortable but Anne pushes her into the room leaving Lauren behind. How lucky.

"I'm staying out here babe!" Lauren tells Camila, biting her nails.

Camila gets in the room and sees Cara in a tiny pool, naked, with people surrounding her holding onto her hand and massaging her lower back while she pushes. She hears the moans and groans and she can see straight on the babies head crowning. She feels like she's gonna faint.

"Woah" Camila stumbled a little.

"I know right. isn't it amazing" Anne said.
