I was just sitting on my couch when I heard the sound of moving trucks, I lazily got up to see what the commotion was about. I pulled back my curtains to see someone unloading a moving truck, doesn't seem to weird right? It would be totally normal, if the new neighbor wasn't moving in the middle of the night. The neighbor was moving into the house right across the street where an old lovely couple used to live. I then noticed the new neighbor was a man when he stepped into the lighting in his new home. I decided to check it out some more tomorrow morning so I went to bed and ignored the commotion the new neighbor was causing.
The next morning I woke up and the first thing I did was go to the window that had a perfect view of my neighbor's house, I saw him walking around his house. He was wearing a blue vest with a yellow under shirt, brown pants and black dress shoes. I also couldn't help but notice he was wearing black leather gloves which seemed odd to me, as I was staring at him he stopped what he was doing and looked at my house and scanned the wall to find my window, well that's what it looked like anyways. And his blue eyes stopped on me as if he knew, he knew I was watching him. He grabbed a box that was by his mailbox and slowly turned around and walked into his house closing the door behind him. After waiting some time I came to the conclusion that he wasn't going to come back outside, he left his belongings outside and they were just screaming to be explored...
I opened my door and snuck out being careful not to make a sound, fearing he would just know though in the back of my mind I knew I was overreacting but something about him screamed uneasiness. The type of uneasiness that screamed "I'm a murder with dead bodies in my basement". Maybe I was looking to into this and maybe I shouldn't go through his things but it was too late, I was opening one of the boxes. I found a hammer and something that shouldn't have sent shivers up my spine, a rusty lock that needed one of those really old keys to be unlocked. I also found a box that was empty while I was searching through some more of them as well as some dishes and a camera. I was starting to feel paranoid so I ran across the street to my house, slammed my door when I got in and peeked through my curtains once more.
"What the hell," was all I could squeak out as I noticed his figure standing in his window in what I presume to be his living room. He was staring at me with this weird look in his blue emotionless eyes. I knew he was hiding something and I needed to know, I guess that's why curiosity killed the cat. I went on with my day checking my window periodically to see him walking around his house or moving boxes.
Atlas nighttime fell upon us and it was hard to spot the creepy neighbor, but I kept checking due to my paranoia. I was honestly scared to peek through my curtains to find him staring back at me with a bloody knife, might not happen but still he seemed like the type of person that would do that. So dreading to check my curtains I left them alone for about an hour until I had gotten the balls to check them. Upon pulling one of them back I didn't find Mr. Creepster staring back at me, thankfully, but I instead found that one of his upstairs room had a green glow coming through the window. I stared at it for minuets waiting for something to happen, but nothing did.
It was getting late so I decided to get to bed to get ready for the next day, the next day that will allow me took take a better peek at his life. I got ready and took one last glance at the house through my window and headed upstairs to my bed. I have to admit I had trouble falling asleep mostly because I was scared I would find him leaning over my bed with a hammer about to blunder me to stop me from discovering his secret. I did end up falling asleep but I did wake up once in a while to look around my room just to lay my head back down. It was a restless night.
