Chapter 1 : Awoken

It was the time of life, it was the time of death. It was the time of trust, it was the time of belief.

''breathing, I can breathe, I feel it...'' Jisoo thought. Hearing her breath, her bones, her heart. She opened her light brown eyes, seeing the window of the capsule. A digital program window showed up on that window "Hello, Do Jisoo! You have just awoken from the experiment dream! It seems that the experiment was successful. You're still 21 years old and it is the year 4368." Then the program closed itself with hearing the sound of another capsule opening. The digital program has run out of battery. Jisoo opened the capsule, the light was bright, after seconds she heard a loud screaming voice and felt that someone had just hugged her.

When Jisoo's vision returned to normal she turned around to look at who just hugged her, it was Alex she still wore the same clothes; white ripped jeans, a black shirt with the number 88 on it, a fiery and raven flannel and timberlands! Alex is 18 years old with brown hair and dark brown eyes. Jisoo was happy to see one of her best friends around.

"Alex! I'm so happy to see you!" Jisoo said passionately.

"It's nice to see you too Jis-" she cut off her sentence, falling deep in thought.

"What is it?" asked Jisoo.

"Ehm, his capsule is open..." Alex said weakly, looking at one of the capsules.

Yes, Alex was right. 'His' capsule was opened 1-3 weeks ago. Alex went to the big grey capsule and she found a letter.

"Jisoo, He left a note: 'I'm where our friendship began.' What is he talking about?" Alex questioned.

"Where our friendship began.." They both thought for a few minutes in silence, then it finally hit Jisoo.

"Alex!? Where else our old high school!" She said with furor.

They both went outside after ten minutes of searching for the exit, but what they saw was what they never expected. This city... it seemed as no one has been there since more then 1000 years. Old cars, broken buildings, plants all over the roads. Jisoo and Alex froze in amazement what they are seeing, appealing about if they should trust their eyes.

"What happened here?" Jisoo asked.

"Whatever happened, it wasn't good at all. We should move..." Alex suggested, and she was right; they shouldn't stay in one place when they don't know what's happening around them.

There they were, at the High school were it all began. It was already night, on the way they saw creatures but Alex and Jisoo weren't sure of what they were. As they entered the school they went to their old classroom. Jisoo attentively opened the door.

A young man was staring at both of the girls half awake. Normal it is the middle of the night. As he stood up Jisoo and Alex screamed overjoyed, moving up to him to hug him tightly. "Andy!" The thing is that the feeling of hugging him was strange. He is the best friend of both Jisoo and Alex the feeling when they hug him is normally warm, defensive, but this one is more... cold. Jisoo looked up to Andy to see his features: 19 years old, blank, sorry face, he has those eyes that are unique; the inner circle is ice blue, the middle is dark blue and the outer is purple, dark brown hair, a sky blue shirt, a white scarf, black hoodie, but he didn't ware walkers, he wore black boots and his normal raven jeans. The thing that cought Jisoo's eye was the pistol; he never wore a pistol - let alone know how to use it.

He sighed.

"Andy what's with this look?" Alex asked.

He smiled at Jisoo and Alex. That smile was what Jisoo wanted to see.

"Andy if you don't mind, can you please explain what's going on here and mostly importantly why do you have a weapon!?" Jisoo demanded.

His face hardened again, Assuming about what to say. Jisoo waited, not sure if she wanted to know the answer.

"Jisoo, Alex. Right now we are in the year 4368. Today is the 7th August, and apparently we need to deal with creatures such as aliens and zombies. There are almost no supplies, there are no longer 21st century technology - we're back to the stone age to say it like that. And those creatures are our enemies, hence why I have a pistol. I took it from a base so I can protect myself with something, do you both understand how dangerous this place is and how serious I am?" Andy pointed out.

Jisoo was right. She didn't want to know the answer because she is now afraid of the whole situation. The way that Andy sounded was not his standard which only means that he is more then aware that they can die out there easily and if he asked if we understood that means he is now the serious boy. Jisoo guesses that it is a family line (the commanding thing) and if he starts to swear in a special way, then he really reminds her of his uncle.

"Yeas I guess?" Alex whispered.

Jisoo nodded.

" Anyways... Where did you find the weapon?" Jisoo inquired.

"About that, you two need to get weapons as well. I'll show you when the sun rises." Andy finished.

"Ok then." Alex whispered.

------------Jisoo's POV-----------

The sun rised and Andy lead us to a military station. We spread out to search a good weapons for ourselves while Andy waited outside to make sure we're safe. I'm so glad that there are still good weapons to take with the fact that they are more than 100 years old. I opened a box after box until I found the perfect weapon...

"Alex probably already found one now and they're most likely waiting for me" I thought while opening the next box.

"I wonder if there are still people alive and living around?" I asked myself. Suddenly, I heard a hiss noise and it grew louder and louder until I was able to see a big 'fly' flying in my direction. I took a knife that I think is called a Machete, to make sure it doesn't attack me. For a second, I blinked and it was on top of me trying to kill me. Struggling to push it off my weak body, I used the Machete to kill it, but it stood still until it finally fell down on the floor. I carefully took the Machete out of his bloody body. For first time in my whole life I killed someone - no, 'something'.

For a Machete it was fairly big; at least 30 cm long. I went outside as fast as I could because I was scared that there would be more creatures attacking me. When I went outside Andy was standing with his pistol in his one hand and his right leg on a dead man that seemed dead to me. Andy noticed that I was there as well so he turned to face me.

"Are you ok? You look like you just saw a ghost," He spoke.

I stood there for a few moments in silence thinking if I should tell him or not. I decided that he is stressed out and I didn't want him to get depressed because of me, so I changed the subject.

"Is Alex still not back?" I walked up to him while I waited for the answer.

"No. And you're changing the subject... never mind." He said.

I was about to ask him if he want us to look for her when Alex mysteriously showed up behind me scaring the hell out of me.

"ALEX!" I Screamed. Her face was about to fall off in laughter.

"What did you both find?" Andy cut off.

"I found a pair of katana" Alex said.

"That is a good weapon... and you Jisoo?" he continued.

"I found a Machete." I said quietly.

"Cool! That's a strong weapon!" He smiled at us.
