“You’re so beautiful Lexie, I love you,” He said, and gently brushed my lips with his. His arms wrapped tightly around my waist, capturing my warmth. It felt like we were the only two people in the world, like nobody else existed. I felt like I could stay here forever, but I couldn’t.
“LEXIE! GET UP! YOU HAVE TO GO TO SCHOOL!” my mum yelled from downstairs. I groaned and slumped out of bed. It was 6 in the morning. Curse school starting early! I had a quick shower, put on a light face of make-up on, and curled my hair, letting it fall loosely down past my shoulders. I put on a pair of dirty pink, ripped jeans, a white flowly singlet and a black, three-quarter arm blazer.
I walked downstairs and was greeted by my dad.
“Morning Lexie,” he said kissing me on the cheek.
“I have to go to work now, and I won’t be home until very late, so I will see you tomorrow. Love you,” he yelled running out of the door with his briefcase.
“Bye dad, love you too,” I yelled back. I had a very special bond with my dad, I don’t know why, but I was always daddy’s little girl.
I walked into the kitchen to find my mum pulling something out of the oven. She turned around with a tray of cinnamon muffins.
“Morning Lexie,” she greeted me, placing the tray on a cooling rack.
“Morning mum,” I said, kissing her cheek.
“Have a good sleep?” she smirked. I looked at her confused.
“Yes…” I dragged on. “Why?”
“Oh, I just heard you repeat the name ‘Harry’. That’s all,” she smiled, handing me a muffin.
“How did you hear that?” I laughed. My parents knew my ‘dedication’ towards One Direction, and Harry had always been my favourite. I mean, I love all of them, but there was just something about Harry. His beautiful accent, his sparkling green eyes, his innocent dimples. I couldn’t pin point it down, I just loved everything about him. But of course, I will never meet them because I live in Australia, the furthest you could get from London.
“Have a good day,” my mum yelled as I walked out the door. I put my earphones in ears and started the 30 minute walk to my best friend, Addy’s house, then she would drive us both to school. I listened to One Direction, whether it be their album, or the songs they sand on x-factor, or na na na.
I walked up to Addy’s front door and rang the door bell.
“Hey Lexie,” she said, hugging me.
“Hey Addy, you ready?” I asked.
“Yep, give me one second,” she said and ran back inside. A minute later she came out with her back pack on one shoulder.
“Let’s go,” she sang walking past me. I followed her to the car and jumped in the passenger seat.
“Oh, Lexie, I almost forgot to tell you, I got a boyfriend last night,” Addy exclaimed, squealing.
“OH MY GOSH! ADDY THAT IS GREAT!” I practically yelled, I was so happy for her.
“Thanks. His name is Liam, he doesn’t go to our school though,” she said. I laughed silently at the irony. No-body down here really knew about One Direction, and I didn’t talk to my friends about them, so they had no idea who they were.
“Oh nice! How did you meet?” I asked her.
“Him and his friends were at the beach last weekend, and my dog ran up to them. I hung out with them for the rest of the day, and had an instant connection with Liam. I caught up with just him yesterday, and he asked me to be his girlfriend,” she said as we pulled up to school.
“Aw, that’s so cute!”
“Yeah! Oh, and I’m meeting with them this after-noon, and you’re coming,” she smiled. I smiled back. I could use with some new friends.
“Okay, sounds good!” I said as we walked into the building.
