part 3

*Andy's POV*

After amethyst fell asleep I started talking to my parents.
"Why didn't you ever tell me about her?" I asked them trying to keep my voice calm.
"It was easier just to not tell anyone Andy" my dad said
"No one would've done anything to help, nobody would've taken her in, if told anybody all that would've happen is we would be critiqued, they would've tried taking you away because we wouldn't have been able to take care of both of you" my mom said on the verge of tears.
"You could've at least told me when I turned 18 or when I started making good money." I said slightly calmed down.
"We would have if we knew where she was" my dad said
I sighed "I would've found her no matter what the cost, its obvious she's in an abusive home, who knows how many she's been in" I said, at that my mom burst into tears. "No matter what, do not let her go home by herself tomorrow." I said. They both agreed after a few minutes of awkward silence they told me good night and went to their room.
I held Emilee for a few minutes after and decided to head to bed. I got up carefully so I didn't wake her. Right as I was turning the corner out of the living room she started to stir and make some noises. I stayed where I was for a few minutes to see if she'd wake and she did. She shot up in her seat and started having a panic attack. I rushed to her side and pulled her into my arms.
I stroked her hair and whispered "its ok emi, I've got you, it was just a dream, you're safe now baby" after a few minutes of telling her she was safe and  I had her she calmed down.
"I'm sorry" Emilee said
"For what?" I asked
"Freaking out"
"Its ok, you had a bad dream" I told her as I held her close to my chest. I picked her up and carried her to my old room. I layed her down on the bed and held her. After about 30 minutes she looked up at me and said she couldn't fall back asleep. I started stroking her hair again and started singing savior. She fell asleep around the second verse, but I finished the song just to make sure she was asleep. I kissed the top of her head and after about 10 minutes I fell asleep too.

*amethyst's POV*

I woke in Andy's arms in some room I've never seen before. I'm guessing its his old room. I slipped out of the room quietly and went into the bathroom with my bag. I started to fix the makeup that came off in my sleep. I had just finished my neck when I heard a knock at the door.
"One second" I said.
I heard Andy say ok and walk away. I finished up my makeup and got changed into some skinny jeans and my Andy black shirt. I walked out of the bathroom and into the living room.
I guess Andy went back to bed, nobody else is up either. I wrote a note telling everyone I was leaving. I slipped on my jacket, grabbed my bag and headed out. I really do wanna stay, but I can't, I'm too much of a burden.
I made my way down the street and went to Tammi's house. I didn't even bother to knock I just walked in.
"Honey I'm home!" I shouted in an over dramatic tone. I heard laughter from the living room and headed that way. I saw Tammi and Amanda playing video games and nick drawing.
"You're late" nick said not looking up from his drawing.
"Sorry, Andy and Chris wouldn't let me leave" I told them which got me a gasp from Amanda, an eye raise from Tammi and nick looked up from his drawing.
"Did it go well?" Tammi asked
"Yeah, it did" I said sounding sad.
"Then why are you sad?" Amanda asked
"They want to get custody of me again, and I left this morning cause a don't want to be a burden" I said on the verge of tears
"Oh my god" Tammi said as she made her way over to me
"I don't want to be coddled I just want to play" I said they all nodded or said ok. I saw Amanda do something on her phone but I didn't pay it much attention.
