This is a song parody that I created for the song It Is You by Natalie Prass. Check it out on YouTube. The parody is based off of Cress from Marissa Meyer's The Lunar Chronicles, which is my favorite book series! Enjoy:

There are screens, there are clouds

Many dramas and pouts,

There are dreams, there are doubts

There are daydreams and shouts,

And the clouds, they formed a crown

Around the spinning planet earth

But there's only one thing that I need

Send a chip, silver-gray,

Words with meanings divine,

And a sky, big and blue

To fill with my smile

So many things will fill my life

But only one will do

It is you, it is you, it is you

And the Earth will sing its song

And the Moon will always fight

And each day as my life goes on

It has all been nothing without you

Broken ports, try to chime

Two eyes with no light

Sand on the ground

That will always be warm

All the answers in the world

They need a reason to be true

It is you

It is you

Do my best all alone

To see the beauty around

Black tattoos near my face

When you're not around

I've learned that there's a heart

Broken that only one can fix

It is you

I hope you enjoyed! I do not own The Lunar Chronicles or the song It Is You.
