*Present day*
"Wake up!" I heard a guy's voice somewhere near, but not so near and it is waking me up, which is an action I'm not planning to take. "Come on! Wake up already!" The voice continued. This time it's louder and deeper, and closer. Must be a voice from hell. "God damnit! Stella Raeni, would you wake up already?!" The voice is becoming more and more annoyed. I slightly opened my eyes, allowing a glimpse of light to enter my vision and moved my arms to my front, using it to get up; However, even my arms won't move, a sign to stay in bed for atleast five minutes more. I once again shut my eyes and wondered through my brain for something good to dream about, when a cold feeling embraced my face.
"What was that for?!" I searched the room, looking for what had just hit me. I saw Mat standing beside my bed, holding a glass which is........... empty. I calmed down. "Hey Mat. Truly, voice from hell. What time is it alrea- Empty?" I glanced at the glass on Mat's hand, then to his face and I saw the edge of his mouth twitched. "You.... you poured water on me?!" I yelled at him, just remembering what had woke me up.
"Hurry up. Breakfast's served already" Mat turned around, heading for the door, ignoring me.
"How dare you pour water on me?!" I ran after him then grabbed his shirt. I am tiny, but as I have said: I am small but terrible. "Mat!" I scolded him, asking for his attention but as always, he ignored me. So I held the hem of his shirt with my both hands and then there it goes! I ripped it apart. You can tell me, I hate being ignored. It's worth it. Mat did not take another step forward. He faced my direction and I can see he is not happy with what I just did. Definitely. See? Small but terrible, indeed.
"Do you know what you just did?" His eyes were scary. The type which when you look at it, it feels like it's gonna slice through you. Well, I got used to it so it has totally no effect on me at all. So I said
"Yeah? I just asked for your attention" I waved my arms in the air carelessly. "I was about to ask you why on Earth did you pour water on me, but I guess we're even now since I ripped off your shirt. So if you'll excuse me." I ducked under his arm which was leaning on the wall with his weight on it, flexing his muscles beautifully. But no, I am one-hundred and two percent sure that I am not attracted to him even just a tiny bit. I marched towards the refrigerator to find something to fill my stomach. However to my disappointment, there's none.
"Mat!" I looked for him in the dining room but he's nowhere to be found. So I searched for anything edible inside the cabinets, but there really is nothing at all! I asked Mat again. "Hey! Where are you-" I was cut off. Mat appeared behind me, pushing the cabinets in front of me with great force, producing a vey loud slam. I rolled my eyes as I looked at him. "What's the deal?" When I looked at him, a smile was plastered on his face and it is not a friendly one. "I can see you changed your clothes." I smiled back at him then I tried to escape his arms that are framing me against the cabinets, but it didn't work. He is too LARGE for me. "Mat, hey, move." I shove him off even though I know it won't have an effect.
"Yes. You ripped of my shirt which costs a whole forty dollars that I was about to wear for the first day of school." He leaned closer to me. I can clearly see his handsome face and his muscular body is pressing againts me. But no, I wasn't even bothered by the intimacy of our position. I felt nothing at all. And have I mention that I hate men? So I suppose feeling nothing towards him is way better than hating him. He put his one hand on my hand, the other, on my waist. He entangled his fingers in my hair, and that hurts!
"Mat! What are you doing? And why are you even buying a shirt worth forty dollars?" My voice is calm but what I feel doesn't even come close with irritated.
