That one school year

chapter 4

Erens pov

As i walked along the path, i began to wonder how long it took him to get here. It had been at least 20 minutes since we left school, and that awkward silence didn't leave, either.

About ten minutes later, we arrived at a large gate. What was beyond it was trees. Trees as far as i could see. Levi went up to the keypad and typed something in, and the gate opened, and I have to admit I jumped a bit when it suddenly creaked open. Levi smiled and a little at my nervous vibe. For some reason, I felt strangely uncomfortable.

"C-can we go in?" i stuttered. God, I was stuttering a lot today. " I mean, this IS a restricted forest, isn't it? Are we allowed to?"

"Just follow me."he sighs. well, he has never been very friendy.

To break the akward silence, i asked him some lame questions. I asked him his age. 17. only 1 year older than me. His favourite colour. No awnser.

Instead he asked "Why are you so interested in finding things about me? 'You'll find out soon enough." I shut up after that.

We finally got to his house after, like, ten minutes of walking.

"welp, we're here." Levi said.

"ITS HUGE!!" I practically screamed. It was basically castle. twenty times the size of my house, it was probably at least stories tall, and i dont even know how wide it was!

"Levi, you live HERE??

"No shit, sherlock."

"W- how rich are you???!!" now i'm screaming. he just sighs.

"is it too hard too ask you to not to tell anyone about this? And i-its just a uh... family inheritance... but, uh ANYWAYS, you wanted to train with me, here we are. follow me, and stay close, because its easy to get lost in here..."

i went beside him as he went in the house-if thats what in calling it- and it was amazing! chandeliers hung from everywhere, butlers greeted us when we went through the door, i couldent believe it.

he led me through a series of corridors, and i said "i still cannot believe you LIVE here..."

"aaannd OK we're there so you can stop clinging to me now. He said."

"s-sorry." i didnt even realise that i was. Everything was just so overwhelmingly huge.(you pervs I see you (⊙＿⊙))

he opened up the sliding doors to a plain room that lea to the backyard- if thats what you want to call it, nothing in it except that there was a table on the middle of the room.

"wait here" he said as he left the room.
"Wait, Levi!"
I ran after him to ask him where all the Badass training grounds were. Where did he go?

Levis pov

i go tell the butler to go get everything ready, get out of my school clothes and into a plaid t-shirt with skinny back jeans.

As I see Walace, the head butler, where my gandpa was, he just said he was out. AGAIN. Every since we left spain after the accident, he just either locked himself in his room and did papework, or went out and did buisness. It had been so long....

I was starteled suddenly with a crash downstairs.

II rushed down to the room Eren was in... except he wasn't. He was gone. Dammit!! I told him to stay here! you could get lost so easily here! this place was built ages ago and much of it had to be taken down thanks to some floors being rotted away!
