Fyre dragons are slight creatures with a long-ish snout and deep, rose-red scales. It's colour is sometimes scattered with a light, blazing orange, and also a bright yellow that lightens its features considerably. When they are young, they are chubbier, with a shorter wingspan and smooth, rounding scales playing their bellies.

Fyre dragons have the amazing ability to withstand fire for as long as they please. Their scales are impossible to damage, and they can cut through anything with their sharp teeth. Of course, most have fire breath, a rare few have poisonous glands that they can spray at enemies, and, as all dragons do, they possess wickedly sharp talons on their feet that will shred anything they want to shred almost instantly.

Fyre dragons are very aggressive. they like to play, but only if it's with their own kind. They play a vital part in any war, for pillaging and destroying remains their specialty. They are necessary in dragon communities. Fire dragons like to fly, and they will often, when raging a village, burn everything in sight, before swooping down afterwards to collect anything that is still moving and by some luck has managed to avoid the scalding flames. Mmmmm, a tasty morsel, is the only thought that the fire dragon will have, and they will dive mercilessly into the roaring flames to gulp down their prey. Thus fierce species of dragons is very territorial, and thus guards their Realm if Fyre with strong determination and wonderfully developed defensive abilities. They tend to be a more destructive species of dragons.

In the average day, a fire dragon will obviously want to set a village on fire. So that is what they do. It is basically, in their eyes, a restaurant to go to when they are hungry. They would most likely do this around three times a day, for three square meals, then it will sleep in its burrow deep within a semi dormant volcano for the rest of the day before hunting time at dusk. They live in warm climates, their enemies are the Cold Dragons ad the Water Dragons, and all of the hybrids on between.
