" it is here." Chen Liang says as she brings the plates to the table

" why are you so late?! I am telling you, do not slack if not i will kick you out of the house! " Chen xing's mother shouts

" sorry, i won't do it again. " Chen Liang says

Chen liang walks into the storage room which is her room. She gets herself ready for the school day, She walks out of her room.

" Chen liang, we will be out till 12pm, tell your teacher that Chen xing is sick. I want you to clean the whole house. Do not slack like today! Get it? "

" Yes madam. "

With a slam, they leave the house.

Chen liang's POV

" Gosh... " i locked the doors and walk to school, not really far but at least a 20 minutes walk, 10 minutes by bus.

" good morning liang liang, this is the form report. Just take the attendance and control the class. We have a teachers' meeting now. " Her form teacher says

" yes madam. And also, Chen xing is sick today so she will be absent. "

" okay, thank you. "

Liang liang walks to her classroom and takes the attendance, as usual, the class is quiet when xing xing is not around.

" okay class! Teachers and children's day is approaching and do you guys want to do something? " liang liang asks

Chen liang works in the local book store where she reads books of all genres for free and she explains it to the buyer. She earns money for herself because her step mother said that they only have enough money for xing xing to go to university. 

Even though liang liang is smart, she can not guarantee her self a place. So she works hard, even if she gets into a school, she has to cater for her expenses. Her father works far away and he only comes back once in a while.

The day goes by quick as she enjoys this job, she walks into the room as she sees her father

" Pa! When were you back!? " chen liang shouts excitedly as she hugs him

" just a while ago. " Her father says

" why are you here? " liang liang asks

" why can't we be here? " Xing xing says

" Didn't you say that you will be away from home till 12? "

" Oh, we are back early because we were done with our things quite early. "

" Alright, then i'll go into the kitchen to cook dinner. "

" Don't worry. I've done that already. "

" You have? Alright then, let me go and change out first. " Chen Liang says awkwardly 

She walks into her room and sees all her stuff being moved, she hurriedly rushes out.

" Where is my stuff? " Chen Liang angrily asks with clenched hands

" Oh, in your room with Xing xing. Why? "

Chen Liang runs into the room to look for her Mom's final gift to her. 

" You have lost it! Last time i had already held it but this time is too much! " Chen Liang says as she breathes in heavily 

" Did you guys push my things back into xing xing's room in a hurry to make it look like i was always staying with her? I lost my mothers photo the last time you did so, i didn't say much because i had an extra copy! But t-this --" Tears falls uncontrollably that it forces her to stop talking

" how can you shout at your mother like that?! " her father shouts at her and slaps her

" pa, W-why? She made me lose my last photo, Our-- " liang liang asks while holding on her face

" I am not you father! Don't call me pa! "
