Chapter 19: Drama

" Hey, Ruth prepared breakfast for us, and it also says about a show where we can go and participate! We can  search that up. " Janet shouts

" Ruth did? She made breakfast? " Nancy asks

" Maybe, but it says that she made breakfast, or she might have bought it from the shops, i don't know. But we can sign up for this. "

" Oh yeah great! It says that we have to pass an audition first then we can enter the show. Since we still have some time, let us have breakfast them we can go and sign up for it! " Natalie says as she hold her phone.

They all finish eating and they all go to sign up, they go to their work place and wait patiently for the call.

" Hello? "

" Is this Nancy? "

" Yes, i am. May i know where you are calling from? "

" I am from the show 'Produce new!' "

" P-produce new? "

" Yes, i am calling to inform you that you have been chosen by the team to be on the show! Congratulations and you can come tomorrow at 8 o' clock in the morning for recording. "

" Thank you so much! " Nancy says

" Good bye. "

" Good bye. "

Janet and Natalie also gets the same call, they tell their respective boss's and get a leave.

Ruth and her manager had gone to meet Roy.

" Hello daddy! "

" oh, how has my Ruthy been? Is it tough been an idol? "

" it's alright up till now so i think i'll get used to it. " Ruth says as they take a seat

" so what are you doing theses days? you seem to get a lot of TV appearances! "

" I have just been around promoting my new song and a drama that i am in is going to start broadcasting next week so i will also have to prepare for all these also. Pretty complicated huh?"

" You have to take good care of your own health! Get enough sleep and eat well, do not skip meals also. "

" My child has grown up! " Roy says as he ruffles her hair

The director walks over and gives then the script for the drama they will be starring in. 'Lost Soul'

" This drama will start filming tomorrow, you guys are called here today for script reading as this contains a  lot of time transition which means that this film will be complicated and since we will be working with a child we wanted to help out. "

" D-director.. " Ruth says as she reads the script in fear

" Who wrote this story line? " 

" Jenny Zhou. That sister over there. Why? Do you have any problems or questions with this script or story line? "

" This- This... Is a really good idea especially this, she traveled back in time to which she was astonished and cover with fear, an undeniable force seem to throw her into a room of thoughts and questions. Finding the answers is the hardest part but she was the only person who traveled in time so who will she call out to? "

" she is a pretty young writer but most of her works are surely amazing and breath taking like a beautiful scenery, her works have also been a big hit and people love her story line! " Ruth nods as she turns back to the back of the script 

"... and this was all planned by destiny, right from the beginning she was meant to leave her real world and find the happiness she wanted, a dream in fulfillment. " Ruth read out loud as she stared at the director in horror. 

" Just a dream? Like really? that is so sad! "

" Ruth, you seem to be really interested in this drama. read well and a co-star will be your older self as in to the later world." Ruth nods her head as the director leaves
