------------
"Dimitri, are you alright?"

He gave me a devilish smile. "Never better, my dear Luci."

We both looked down to the lifeless bodies of who were our friends. Dimitri licked their blood off the knife he held, then kissed me.

I licked the blood he left on my lips, smiling. "I love you, Dimitri."

"I love you, too, Lucina."

----Flashback to what happened----

I felt Dimitri's jealousy grow the more and more time I spent with my friends. The two of us were together in secret, and I could tell he wanted me for himself.

I knew of what he wanted to do to them. Even before he told me. We've been together for almost two years and knew a lot about each other.

One day, I felt he would...do it.

"Um, Luci...we need to talk."

I looked up from the book I was reading. His tone in voice was different now then when he was usually around me. Alone.
"What's up?" I asked.

He sat next to me on the couch, running his fingers through my jet black hair. "Its been a while since we've been this close."

I closed my eyes at his touch, staying silent. I- we both knew that was true.

"Luci...I've been thinking...would you want to come to this party our friends are having? Its just the group that's going..."

I showed him a small smile. "Sure. Sounds like fun."

The day of the party, I dressed up in my favorite pair of jeans and a black floral top. I met Dimitri downstairs, then headed out.

I glanced over at him, his hands white-knuckled on the steering wheel. "Dimitri, is something wrong?"

His grip loosened a bit. He moved a hand towards me, taking my hand in his own. "No. Everything's fine. Just...lost in thought."

I nodded. But I knew what was really going through his mind.

We arrived after sundown, the different colored lights from inside almost glowing. Taking my hand, he led us inside.

"Lucina, Dimitri, you made it!"

We turned to find our friend making our way toward us. I grinned. "Wouldn't miss it for the world!"

'Danza Kuduro' by Don Omar and Lucenzo came on. (One of my favorites 😄) I grabbed Dimitri's hand and pulled him to the dance floor. "Come on, I love this song!"

He followed me along and danced with me for what seemed like forever. I swayed my hips to and fro, luring Dimitri away from those 'negative' thoughts, and to others.
