The next day came and of course Lillian was out in front of school forcing the same fake smile, the same fake laugh wondering where things went so wrong for her to have these fake friends and this fake life. Ella just happened to catch her eyes as she walked past and into the building. Lillian's smile faded as she watched the door close behind her. As she thought she was brought back to the conversation "Liz? You feeling okay? You look out of it." Some one commented. "She's stoned." One of the boys spoke. Lillian just chuckled a bit, forced of course, and hating it. "No.. Just, distracted." She shrugged. They all exchanged glances. One of the girls smirked letting out a giggle "Alright come on, by who?" "Who? No one.. I'm just thinking, about.. School that's all." She rolled her eyes. "We all know that's a lie. So come on, tell us!" Lillian sighed. She knew she couldn't trust them but had no choice if she wanted them to leave her along. She finally spoke up "Do you know that Ella girl?" They all stared at her confused. "Ohh! You mean that skinny bitch from my American history class! Yeah, I know her, but you need to stay away from her she's bad news.." "Yeah I heard she's a.. You know." They spoke and Lillian stopped listening. She's a blue blood? Lillian thought.

Blue blood: Any human with powers, or inhuman abilities.  More commonly known as witches, wizards, warlocks, etc.
Blue bloods have been known to be around for centuries, but have only started coming out of hiding for a couple years now. They have special powers, not so much spells but just abilities. Super strength, flight, invisibility things like that to separate them from the "normal" human population. They were counted as unless. Disgraces to human kind. Nothing but evil. These people who were discovered to have these powers, were beaten, shamed or worse. The death of these people often accrued frequently, but no one ever cared. These people were treated horribly. Authority's would never care, even join in on beating and even killing these innocent people just because they have a label. BLUE BLOOD. People could never figure out if a person is a blue blood or not unless they used their powers out in public. "Normal people" were often accused of being blue bloods just because everyone is scared. Today no one shows their own person style, no one embraces their differences. If you don't fit in you're accused of being a blue blood and that'll probably be the last time you're seen alive.

"Yeah. She's weird. She's gotta be one." One of the girls spoke, snapping Lillian out of her thoughts. She didn't really trust what her friends were saying it was just a bunch of crap to her and she didn't care. Its a rumor, it can't be true. "How do you know?" Lillian asked. "Well. She's weird, she's a loner.." Her friend trailed off seeming to be at a lost for words. "If you don't know for sure, then stop accusing her." She snapped. She knew it was dangerous to stick up for an accused blue blood but she didn't want her "friends" starting another rumor and getting Ella hurt. They all looked at here in shock. Lillian glanced around the group before walking off sighing heavily. Kids in this school have disappeared and a day later we see them in the news. Dead. It was stupid. People, innocent people, killed because of rumors. And no one seemed to care.

Lillian walked into the school building to find Ella. She was drawn to her and she needed to know more about her. She felt like this was a new obsession, but it was weirder then her craving for the intoxication of cigarettes, or addiction to any kind of drug that would give her some kind of lift. No she knew it was different but she didn't know what to call it or what she was really feeling she just knew it wasn't normal for her to feel this way, but if her friends started a stupid rumor that would get that girl killed she knew she wouldn't be able to forgive them.
