The Party(Pt 2)

NATSU'S POV

In the midst of trying to find a drink, Gajeel alerted me that Zeref was here. He told me that Zeref was on the first floor, and the first thing I thought of was Lucy.

Our feet moved swiftly down the steps, dodging PDA and other distractions to reach the first floor.

To my astonishment, he was already talking to Lucy. Lucy, Levy, Mira Jane, Erza, Cana and Juvia were dead center of the formed circle, eyes all on my brother.

"You can't just-" Levy started.

"Sh." Zeref interrupted.

Lucy looked puzzled. She crossed her arms as less of an angry gesture and more of an awkward stance. I could tell she was uncomfortable. Everyone around them had their eyes plastered on the situation. What was going on?

She took a gulp. "Dare."

LUCY'S POV

"Lucy!" Levy exclaimed, tugging on my arm.

I shrugged, but I couldn't tell her the reason why I didn't pick truth. Dares are one thing, but revealing a secret that you'd never tell your parents was  entirely different.

Zeref thought about this for a moment. I could feel the shaking in my hands. Usually, I'd laugh at the scripted way he talked, like he was the king of everything. But this was not like Natsu and the others. Something told me that I should never want to talk to Zeref again.

"I dare you to go into that closet, and have me send someone in there for a minute. Your intentions may be pure, but what about theirs...?" He asked.

"No." Levy stamped her foot. "That's harassment, Zeref. We're going home now and you can leave us alone."

Zeref gave a small chuckle, and beckoned me by his side. I leaned my ear towards him, and felt him whisper,

"I know where you came from. Do this and I'll keep your secret."

He saw my wild eyes and raised an eyebrow to taunt me. I held back an urge to push him away, but I began to walk over towards the closet, defeated.

NATSU'S POV

What? What??

Why is Zeref making her do this? It doesn't sound like something he'd be interested in... unless he had something to gain.

Lucy shut the door behind her as she stepped into the dark closet. I could sense her panicking, and saw Zeref's eyes scanning the male contestants to go meet her.

His long finger pointed to the captain of the wrestling team, Sting Eucliffe. Sting was all for it, going into the closet after Lucy without much hesitation.

I balled my fists and felt my palms begin to sweat. Something about how she walked in the closet made me feel sorry for her. Hell, I'd never talked to her for longer than a half minute but she seems like someone Id want to know- someone I'd want to get to know...

I need to stop. This isn't the time. I need to figure out how to stop this from happening.

And that's when all the lights went out.

LUCY'S POV

I felt a warm hand on my waist as I sucked in a cold breath. This was torture. 50 more seconds...
