I quickly but quietly rush down the many halls and stair cases until I reach the main office. "Permission to enter?" I ask after knocking on the door. "Permission granted Smith." "Ok listen up crew! We're getting a new member to the U.S.S Enterprise, she's a science officer and a... um what else was she Spock?" I look over to the first in command for the answer. "An Alienologist sir." He replies as boring and unemotional as always. "Oh ya that's it! An Alienologist! Well anyways she's gonna be here any moment now!" I sit back down in my favourite comfy captains chair and wait. "Permission to board the bridge sir?" I hear a female voice ask. I turn towards the elevator and see a beautiful girl about 20 years old standing there. "Permission granted. You must be Officer Smith! I'm Captain Kirk, welcome to the Enterprise! Can I have your number?" I ask very smoothly, before winking at her. She stares at me for about a nano second before erupting into joyful laughter. "Yes sir that's me and about the number, no you may not." She smirks at me when my ever so confidant smile drops. "Fine then. Ok well you have to go see Doctor McCoy before departure." I say muttering the first part then turn around to look out the front.
