I woke up and decided to go visit Terrance's mom because Terrance had basketball practice today. I threw on a polka dotted shirt, shorts, and my new balances and left. "Awhhh he was so cute'' I said when we were looking through Terrance's baby pictures ''Yes he was, he used to walk all around the house butt-naked all the time'' she said ''Awhhh that is too cute'' I said and she sighed ''God is he funna kill me cause I'm showing you these'' she said and I laughed. After looking through the pictures she told me everything that happened ''So I still don't know about the whole situation between his dad'' I said ''Oh well, Terrance doesn't really like talking about it but, back when he was little, him and his dad and his brother were all close, they used play basketball, fishing, and all that other crazy stuff boys do, Terrance doesn't get his looks from me , I'm 5'4 , caramel skin , and people say I look like Halle berry but his father was tall dark handsome and had features of Tyrese Gibson that's where Terrance and his brother got their looks from but me and their father started having problems a couple years later and we just couldn't stay in a marriage, me and him made a promise that we will always be here for the boys, a couple months later he broke the promise after Tyrone's , Terrance's brother, death, he stopped calling , paying for child support and we never heard from him since, then I met Harold, their stepdad, he's a bit over the edge but the only reason I'm with him is because of Terrance, I go out and do all that crazy stuff because, I have no interest with Harold, I just need him for the money, when he hits me I always leave , I just don't want Terrance witnessing that, but he always wind up finding out, that's why I need you Pris, your a good girl and you will make a big difference in his life, that's why I agreed with the promise we made yesterday and me getting along with his stepfather is already making a difference in his life '' she said and I almost cried ''Damn ,the fact I couldn't stand Terrance at first makes this even harder, never judge a book by it's cover, but imma be here for him cause I made a promise'' I said ''Trust me Pris, he really likes you, just give him some time'' she said and I smiled. After that talk we made pasta and hot wings and waited for Terrance to come home. "hey ma'' Terrance said when he closed the door ''Hey son'' she said ''Mom why is there some small ass shoes by the front door, I know them not yours, and why the fuck my baby pictures are out ?'' he asked and I chuckled ''Come to the kitchen and it'll answer your questions'' she said and when he came in he smiled once he saw me but it quickly went away ''ma, why'd you show her my baby pictures ?'' he asked ''Just chill baby, that's no way to say hello to you two favorite girls'' she said and he rolled his eyes then kissed her on the cheek then came to kiss me ''Hey baby how was tryouts?'' I asked him '' It was straight, some dude kept tripping me doe'' he said ''See being a doctor their won't be no tripping or being all sweaty after work'' she said ''Alright ma'' he said and I laughed, after dinner Terrance and I went upstairs to his room and I looked at some of his dad and his brother's pictures, damn his dad did look like Tyrese Gibson, and his brother kinda reminded me of Terrance, with the whole Trey Songz look. "Damn your whole family is good looking'' I said ''Of course were the Edgewood family'' he said and I laughed then I looked up at him , my beautiful baby ''What ?'' he asked , I aint notice I was staring at him ''Nothing'' I said then he kissed me ''I love you'' he said ''I love you too'' I said ''I never had a girlfriend like you before'' he said ''That better be a good thing'' I said and he smiled ''Of course it is'' he said
