Kathaline and Megan sat cross-legged on the too-soft bed in Megan's dark, cool bedroom. They turned to face each other. Kathaline's steady breath was warm against Megan's face. It smelled strongly of alcohol. They were only inches away from each other in the dark room now. Megan kept one hand clutched onto the back of Kat's head, and the other clutching the back of her shirt. Kat on the other hand had her hands strung like Christmas lights over Megan's shoulders.

"I love you Megan, I really do..." Kat whispered, her face turning a deep red. Megan felt her pulse pick up in her head. Then, before Megan was prepared for it, Kat closed her eyes and connected her lips with Megan's.

A chill scurried down Megan's spine, all of her emotions began to spiral, and her stomach felt like it had twisted into a painful knot. She closed her eyes reluctantly, and tried to hold back a moan of pleasure. She had never been kissed on the lips before, especially in the perfect manner Kat was doing it in. Kat was moving her lips only millimeters at a time, so that they rubbed against Megan's, but not too much. The pleasure of Megan's first kiss surged through her body. Her hands shook, and felt unusually numb.

The kiss was gentle and passionate. Megan had a painful feeling that she wouldn't be able to meet Kat's expectations, and with that thought, it ended. Kat pulled away, her face red as a tomato. Megan opened her eyes, and she noticed she was shaking rapidly. "W-wow," she mumbled in a shaky voice. She had lost her ability to mumble any other words due to the aftershock of the kiss.

They kept their arms strung around each other as they looked into their eyes for what Megan thought felt like hours. Then, Kat blinked, and stood up. She stretched her arms, and moaned a yawn. "I think I should head home now you little tomato." she said with a deep chuckle. As she walked out the door, Megan put her hands to her face, and felt that it was incredibly warm. The rims of her glasses were still cold however.
