Secrets? (One Direction FanFiction)

Chapter 6

Kayla's POV

I woke up to find everyone sleeping. I sat up and grabbed my phone 6:00am ugh why am I up so early. I lay back down it's a bit cold and someone stole my blanket, so I move alittle closer to Zayn. I unlock my phone and go on twitter. My eyes pop out of my head I have a ton of followers and mentions. Why though? I look through some of the mentions to see a photo of when Liam was talking to me about Zayn trying to get me to stay and the caption was 'Is Liam having girl troubles?' WHAT!!!! Zayn stirred a bit I calmed myself down.

So many people believe this and are sending me very hurtful tweets each getting worse than the next. A few tears slip down my cheeks. How could some people be that rude. This isn't even true and they don't even know me. I finally get annoyed enough and turn off my phone and threw it to the couch and bounced off and hit the floor. Zayn jumped and opened his eyes.

"Sorry," I mumble shuffling over.

"No it's alright, what was that?"

"My phone I threw it to the couch and it bounced down to floor,"

"Are you cold?" he asks.

"No I am fine," I lie.

"You are shivering and have you been crying?" he asks I quickly wipe my face to feel it wet a bit. Shoot how am I going to get out of this one?

"No I was just yawning," I quickly say.

"Kayla," he says pulling close to him wrapping the blanket around me. I look into his eyes and I don't know what happened but I just burst out crying, he pulled me into his chest just letting me cry while rubbing my back.

"Kayla, what's wrong?" he asks after I calmed down.

"Everything. I had the best two days with you and then I find out you are in One Direction and just blew everything and now I go on twitter and have loads of followers and to see what the big deal was with me to see a photo of me and Liam going around and people thinking me and him are involved and I got very rude tweets and I got frustrated and threw my phone and woke you up," I say a few more tears falling down my face.

"I'm sorry," he says pain in his eyes.

"W-what are you sorry for?" I ask.

"For lying to you, for our 'fans' and most of all for hurting you. I want to be with you Kayla you are not like other girls,"

"Zayn, I want to be with you too but this will only get worse your fans already think im with Liam,"

"Who said the fans have to know we already been on dates without them knowing who we were, who says we can't do it again," he smiles

"I know but now they know my face so I can't be seen either,"

"We will make it work and it will if you want it to. Do you want it too?" he asks. Do I want it to work? Do I want him in my life again? I'm not sure if I do.

"I understand," he says while sitting up I think I see tears in his eyes. Without thinking I pull him back and kiss him. He is surprised at first but kisses back.

"Zayn I want to be with you, I always have but let's keep it a secret from the world as long as we can I don't want hate and I don't want to be the center of attention," I say I know this will be hard to do but we can try until it comes out because it will sooner or later.

"We will keep it a secret from the world, now about the Liam thing if you are ok with this we can have him tweet that you are just a fan and you were at a meet and greet and weren't feeling well and he was just making sure you were ok and if you had a ride home," He says hmm not a bad idea.

"Yes if it gets me out of the spotlight," I say laying on his bare chest. Everyone else started to stir and wake up.

"Well I am going to take a shower and get dressed for the day see ya in a bit," I gave Zayn and quick peck on the lips and left leaving everyone's shocked faces.

Zayn's POV

She is mine again. Finally. Everyone is staring at me.

"So what's for breakfast?" I ask getting up and walking to the kitchen. I hear the footsteps following me.

"So," Liam says as I was looking through the cupboards.

"What's with you and Kayla?" Bonina asks bluntly.

"We are together but it can't be public and Liam you might want to check your Twitter and then we will talk about that," I say while taking the ingredients out for pancakes. He looks confused but pulls out his phone.

I am still looking but struggling I'm not the best chef.

"Let me be the cook," Harry says taking over.

"What the helicopter," Liam shouts.

"What?" everyone says but me because I have an idea on what he is talking about.

"There's a photo of Kayla and I and the caption is 'Is Liam having girl troubles,' I am not even with her," Liam says.

"That's what I want to talk to you about we need you to tweet saying she is just a fan and wasn't feeling well and you were just making sure she had a ride like daddy direction would," I say.

"Just a fan?!?! Is that we are to you just fans!" Jade says walking out of the room angrily.

"No that's what me and Kayla talked about to get her out if the spot light she is getting hate and wants it to stop," I say.

"I don't think we are the ones you should be telling that to," Harry says. He's right. I follow out the door to find Jade, she is sitting on the couch. I sit down beside her.

"Jade?"

No answer

"Jade that's not what I meant at all Kayla and I talked it over and it's just to get her out of the spotlight so fans will stop sending her hate,"

"So you are doing that so Kayla won't get hate?" she asks.

"Yes I woke up to her crying because of the hate this is the only way, I like her a lot and wouldn't want to do anything that would hurt her," I say

"Im sorry for over reacting," Jade says.

"It's ok I understand," I say and give her a hug. We walk back into the kitchen the smell of pancakes filled the air.

Well wasn't that a great spot to end this chapter. I know it has been forever since I have updated but I have so many books I think I have 3-4 other accounts on wattpad with 2-3 different books on them as well plus on this account I am writing another book with familiar names will be in it. It may not be a one direction fanfic but it mentions them alot and I may end up adding them again. But anyways hopefully I will be able to update more thanks if you are reading this and waiting for this :) xx
