The smell of baking spilled through the house in waves. The sound of giggling coming from the kitchen, Connie's two favirote things in the whole entire world.

The mess she found when she walking into the kitchen was nothing short of what she'd been expecting, flour covering the surfaces, banana peels all over the- wait, banana peels?

Jacon turned around with a grin on his flour covered face. "Hey sweetcheeks".

At that, Grace turned around. "Were baking". She grinned.

Connie smiled. "I gathered that, what are you making anyway". She asked peering into one of the bowels. "Looks kind of iffy to me, why have you mashed up banana's with flour?". She asks as if it was the strangest thing in the world.

Jacob and Grace looked at eachother and then to Connie who was staring at them with one of her brows raised perfectly. "Because mum, we are making banana bread, aren't we Jacob?".

"We are indeed Princess". Jacob grinned and then turned back to Connie. "You don't know what it is?". Connie shook her head inching away from the pair who were covered in flour. "Wow Connie, crime of the century". He told her with a glint in his eye.

"Yes, how could you Mum?". Grace asked im a faked horror.

"I say we bombard her firecracker". Jacob said to the little girl, and Grace smirked.

"Don't you dare". Connie warned and took to backwards walking. "I swear, if any flour goes on me I will personally see to it that the both of you are poisened by the end of the week now do not even- JACOB NO". She was to late, her black blouse was no a home the white powder. Her hair covered in the stuff

Grace was wide eyed. "I didn't think you would actually do it Jacob". She said in horror seeing Connies face.

"Yeah, well I did and now I think we should run Gracie". He said not taking his eyes of his lover. In a flash, the pair were out of the room as fast as lightning leaving Connie to fathom if that really just happened. Nobody flicks flour at her and gets away with it.

Innocently, she walked over to banana bread mixture and scrunched her nose up at it. She whistled whilst reaching for the salt, pouring the whole thing in she smirked and mixed it all up so they wouldn't notice.

It was true, Jacob thought an hour later as he and Grace ate the bread. "Banana bread is not nice". He cringed spitting it into a towel, Grace doing the same. Connie just smirked from were she stood by the door, it didn't go unoticed by Jacob though.
