Today, exactly three years ago, I was picked up from the streets and adopted. I was on the streets at just five years old. I was tall for my age, and was completely reliant on myself to get money, food and water. I didn't steal of course, I am not a bad person. I taught myself gymnastics as I had seen school girls doing it on the grass just by their school, Morton Primary School: for boys and girls aged 3-11. How I loved watching these school girls, turning cartwheels and doing round-offs to their hearts content. I knew I wanted to be just like them, but better, so, at the age of four, I decided to go to the local library and read some books on gymnastics. Before I knew it, I could do all sorts of things. I then turned cartwheels and turned flips every day for the public to provide myself with a bread roll or two, some cheese, and a bottle of water. This is how I lived my life for three years. I did think about going into a care home, but I loved doing gymnastics for the public and loved having no rules. It was just me, my gymnastics and my old sleeping bag.
But three years ago, everything changed. I turned 9 years old and a teacher from Morton Primary School clearly saw that I wasn't getting a home. Her name was Miss Turner. She took me to her house, and gave me the best meal I had ever had in my entire life. Jacket potatoes with grated cheese and baked beans. She then I asked me my name, and I explained I didn't actually have one. So she called me Beatrix. I adored this name, and Miss Turner adopted me. I had a proper family for the first time in my life, and I loved it. Miss Turner asked what education I had had, and I told her I could read quite confidently for the librarian had been teaching me over the past three years while I'd been at the library. I told her that I could not write however, so she decided to teach me herself when she wasn't as school. Miss Turner was a lovely person who cared for me so well, that I didn't actually miss my old life. She also found a gymnastics club, which I went to three days a week. I had my gymnastics, a teacher for writing, and a family. Life was just perfect.
There you are guys, I hope you like it, will update when I can.I have a laptop now so I will be able to update more easily and frequently. BTW the reason I am not messaging you guys is because I can't. So messages will have to be in books or on my profile page. Let me know if I should keep going or delete my other book (The school girl one).
Please comment, and vote.
Thanks
