I'll admit I've been a fool playing by the rules

Michael put down the pen, smiling softly at the lyrics he just wrote.

He then began to grin ear to ear as he started to think about the girl who inspired him to write the song.

The girl who filled him with so much joy. He couldn't stop think about her; she was the love his life. He couldn't think of life without her.

Michael picked up his phone scrolling through his contacts to find her name. He then pressed dial and put the phone up to his hear waiting to hear her angelic voice.

But instead of her voice he heard the unfamiliar sound of her voicemail.

"Hi you have reached my voicemail. Sorry if I didn't answer your call just leave me a message and I promise to call back as soon as possible! *beeeeeppp*"

" hi it's Michael I just wanted to see if you wanted to go to that Italian place you love we can get spaghetti and laugh about that waiters new hairstyle this week" Michael giggled, thinking about how much fun they have in that restaurant.

"Please call me back as soon as possible... I love youuuu" Michael said, pressing the end button waiting for her to call back.

It had been an hour and she still hadn't called Michael back. This wasn't like her, and Michael was beginning to get worried.

*never gonna give you up ringtone*

Michael sat up immediately, looking at his phone and seeing the unusual phone number. Soon after looking at the number he picked it up.

"Hello?" Michael said.

"Hello is this Michael Clifford?" The person asked, worrying Michael slightly.

"Yes this is Michael " Michael said, anxiously.

" I've been told that you know Amber Louise Emberton is that correct?" The man asked.

"Yes I know her, I'm  her boyfriend who is this?" Michael asked, getting more panicked by the minute.

" This is Sydney's intensive care unit, I'm sorry to tell you that your girlfriend has been in a fatal car accident on a main road, please come to the hospital immediately"
