Sitting in a nearby nice coffee shop like the ones you love on a lovely day at 6 p.m, in a booth studying by yourself for an upcoming test that made your hands run through your hair as all you felt was pure stress while your left hand had a grip on a pen which made your hand ache but you kept writing away. Then it hits you, and you will think of the person that you once loved. And for a second you will wonder how they are doing, but you ask yourself why are you even thinking about them because they broke your heart, but you kept doing so anyway, you will begin to miss how warm they made your heart and how their hot breath used to hit your ear when they tell you, "I love you." when they didn't mean it, but you loved the way it flowed out of their lying mouth. You will then start to think about the day it all went down, you catching them in bed with someone else skin to skin with your mouth in agape and mind lost for words as all you felt was emptiness, no tears, no anger but empty. You saw horror in their eyes, with their cheeks flushed in red from embarrassment and regret and one moment you see them standing right in front of you then grabbing your hand and saying, "She means nothing to me, I'm so sorry." with tears in their eyes. Hearing those words coming from their mouth, made your anger rise and you felt your heart getting ripped out and stepped on like a bug that was ready to get rid of, but you didn't say anything but a goodbye and running off to wherever God knows where and crying your eyes out until it began to hurt. You shook your head, trying to get that memory out of your mind as tears were in your eyes and looking down seeing your paper ruined with words that are unreadable due to the tears that were shed. You threw everything into your bag feeling fragile, not caring if your papers and books got all wrinkled and torn. As you rose from your booth with your coffee in hand that was now cold but still drinking it anyway and walking out of the shop then using your legs to walk straight home you begin asking yourself questions, Why did I have to think of you? Do I miss you? Do I still love you? Why did I give you my whole heart? Etc. You unlocked the door to your apartment which you lived alone in, and felt the breeze through your hair with the window open you set your keys, bag and coffee down on the kitchen table, and stripped down naked and hopped into the shower. Feeling the beads of water run down your spine and having a clouded mind, you run your hands through your hair with shampoo and rinsing it then hopping out and throwing on clothes to sleep in, without bothering to brush and blow dry your hair you walked straight to bed and crashed into your pillow. It was now 8 p.m, sirens filled the streets with voices, noise and tears. Hearing the sound of the clock ticking on your wall and your hair now soaking the pillow but you didn't mind, you shut your eyes and slept, trying to forget the person who once broke you.
