- Chapter 3 -

It seems that she's chasing after Zen... Just as Zen was about to exit the bakery shop, Echo Girl hooked her hand around Zen's elbow, and started to touch him.

I immediately ran towards them, standing in a not-so-far shop, looking at them. From where I am, I can clearly see both of them, and vaguely hear their conversation.

"Zen~! I've come to see you! Why aren't you going to rehearsal? WAIT! WHAT HAPPENED TO YOUR ANKLE!?" Echo Girl exclaimed, still clutching onto Zen's muscular arm.

"Echo Girl...? What? I just twisted it, nothing much..." Zen stammered, in obvious disbelief.

No... She can't...! Zen... please don't leave me for her...

"Aw, my poor baby Zen! Why not you bring me back to your house and I can help you? We can rearrange our rehearsal schedules until you're fully recovered, and we can also have some personal time to enjoy ourselves as a couple..." She said slyly while her finger ran down Zen's chest.

I stood where I was motionless for a moment, and I couldn't take it anymore. I cried uncontrollably that I looked like the east end of a horse. I ran up to Zen and tripped over myself, falling in front of him and Echo Girl.

"Zen... How could you...?" I cried.

My heart was throbbing so much from the pain I was suffering from, both from Zen and Echo Girl's situation, and my intense headache.

I clutched onto my head and I ran back in the direction to Zen's house. As I was walking across the road filled with vehicles travelling at high speeds, my clouded vision blurred my surroundings. I then felt a sharp pain in my head, and I fell down on the road, and blacked out. I fainted.

My anaemia has got me. At the wrong time... I fainted, in the middle of a busy road.

"What the...?" Zen turned around in utter shock, when he saw a truck hitting me and watched me get thrown to the kerb of the road, with the truck not even bothered to stop.

"MC!" Zen yelled.

"Zenny! Don't leave me!! Just let that vixen die on the road! She's just merely your fan! She doesn't matter in our relationship!!" Echo Girl shouted at Zen, while trying to pull his arm.

Zen then approached me. Or should I say, my motionless body at the kerb, along with a pool of blood. Zen frantically checked my pulse and breathing. My pulse was weak, and my breathing insignificant. "No... this can't be!"

Zen then quickly dialled for the ambulance.

ZEN: Hello!? Is this the ambulance? I'm at the road across Kim's Bakery Shop, and there's a casualty run over by a truck. Please... She doesn't show any signs of breathing! Please help ASAP...!

Operator: Alright Sir, we are on the way to send medical help, meanwhile, could you bring the casualty to a safe place and cover her with some blanket or clothing? Thank you.

ZEN: Yes yes... Thank you very much too...!

(Ends call).

"MC... Why... It's all my fault..." Zen cried as he held onto my hand. He then covered me with his coat, leaving only his turtleneck shirt on himself in the cold weather.

*Zen's phone rings*

Jumin: Hello Hyun? Is MC alright? I tried contacting her 12 times already, but she hasn't picked up. Is she safe with you?
ZEN: Ju-Jumin... she got into a c-car accident... I'm at Kim's Bakery Shop now... Come if you want to... I'm sorry.

(Zen ends the call).

[In the RFA Chat]

Jumin: Guys. I called Zen and he said MC got into a car accident.

Yoosung: WHAT!? Omg what!? Are you serious?

Jumin: I am. Apparently I am with them right now... MC is in the ambulance with Zen, and I'm in my car with Driver Kim following them to the hospital.

Yoosung: Can I come visit her?

Jumin: Yes, but not now. I think she's gonna be admitted into the A&E...

[707 entered the room]

707: What!? MC!? Yoosung, wait for me at SKY University. I'll pick you up and bring you to the hospital to see MC.

Yoosung: Alright. I'll be at the main gate.

Yoosung: I hope MC's alright... I guess we should all remain calm for now.

"Zen: Doctor! How's her condition..."

"Sir... I regret to tell you that..."

"She's gone and it's my fault. WHY!?" Zen yelled in exasperation.

Zen then pulled out a pocket knife.
