~Mason's POV~
I opened my eyes with a groan as I peered around my light up room. Some how the curtains got open as the sun was blazing inside. I sighed and pushed the blankets off myself and threw my legs over the side of my bed.
I rubbed my eyes and stood up, looking around my half unpacked room. I had just moved to a new town because my mother got a good job offer. I shuffled over to my make shift dresser and pulled out a pair of jeans, a t-shirt and a sweatshirt.
I quickly changed and got together my school stuff. I walked out of my room and across the hall to the bathroom. I brushed my teeth and tried to brush away the mess of my hair. I put on my beanie and walked out heading down stairs.
I checked the time, I still had about 10 minutes before I had to leave. I grabbed my shoes and put them on. My mom, Carrie was in the kitchen drinking her coffee. "Good morning Mom." I say smiling
"Good morning sweetie. How'd you sleep?"
"Good" I replied and said good bye before walking out the door and to my car down the street to the place I would call my "new" school.
