Watching nervously as once again Sebastian over-takes another car, then another. It is difficult to keep count, after a minor incident on the course he started to fall behind, once he recovered from it though, he was unstoppable. Now he is working his way up to fourth place, then third, then he started battling Max for third place, still never getting truly getting past. The sharpest turn on the Abu Dhabi course comes up as we all hold our breath as he... Takes from the inside! Max doesn't have the chance to fight back as Sebastian races off to tackle first place!
My heart is pounding in my chest, thundering through my ears, I can't believe my eyes. I cannot stand it! He races up and doesn't give Rosberg the slightest chance to react as he straight-lines past him and once again goes off. Rosberg tries to catch up. They are on the final lap. The room is filled with his teammates yelling and pre-celebrating. Then silence.
Before the roar of the room explodes around me and people congratulate each other on the success of my husband once again winning. He enters the pit-lane and goes to freshen up. I won't see him until they walk on the track for their celebration.
I am stood outside of the building waiting, despite the location I find myself shivering off the cold. Seb exits and walks up to me, a grin like the Cheshire Cat on his face and I can't help but return it. We hug, I congratulate him before he takes my hand and we walk with all his engineers and his racing team-mate to get to do the formal celebrations.
As we are walking the breeze begins to pick up and although I am in Mr. Vettel's arms I begin to shiver mode obviously, abruptly he stops and looks at me, halting the whole celebration.
"Are you cold?" He asks me with a small smirk, I nod and for some stupid reason I blush with embarrassment. The cameras are on us now, but I realize why when I feel Sebastian's racing jacket wrap around my shoulders.
I look up at him in pure shock as he smiles back down at me, he didn't do this for the camera's, he doesn't look like he even noticed. He did this for me!
In this moment, I couldn't love a man more. I'm proud to be his wife.
