The people of Markarth soundly asleep as the first wind of august howled over their roofs. Not long after, the sun rises over the Druadach mountains near the town, Markarth was a major city located in the Reach, near the border of High. The people of Markarth awakened and the streets were full of merchants and bargaining costumers in no time. A house near the walls of Markarth lived a family of two, a farmer and his son. “Son! Get the horses saddled up, my boy. We have a lot of harvest to sell.” “Already taken care of, Pop.” Answered his boy with a smirk, Everyday they go to town to sell their harvest and everyday they get just enough to feed them both and their horses. As they rode to Markarth, they head to the town square “Stay here, son. I’ll go talk to the merchant.” The boy nodded and waited near the cart, he looked at his father and the merchant from afar and he noticed the merchant was being stubborn. His father looked back at him and gave him a look that made fun of the merchant, He cracked up but before too long a blast of fire hit his father and everything near him. “Dragon!” The town-folks screamed in terror. The boy froze and couldn’t even run, he stuttered and hurried towards the burning rubble where his father stood, He didn’t even search if the dragon was near, he fell to his knees as tears poured and cursed the creature “Retched beast!” with his green eyes burning with anger he picked up a large wood near the cart and ran towards the sounds of terror. He ran towards the dragon, as he drew near and he saw a dragon larger than all the rest but his anger kept him from thinking and he slammed the wood on the dragons feet, it didn’t have any effect and the boy’s anger grew he struck harder but the beast gave no attention and kept burning Markarth, he climbed up the scales of the creature and found himself near the head, he held on for dear life as the beast kept reeking havoc Markarth and there he stabbed the beast’s head as hard as he could, as he did everything froze. The beast wasn’t hurt though he directed his view towards the naïve boy, the boy looked straight in the beasts eyes as the dragon’s fiery red eyes settled. He heard a powerful voice “beldurrik gerlari, berriro borrokatu Unea iritsita egingo dugu.” the boy was lost for words “A curse?” He thought to himself as he felt his strength draining and suddenly fell off the beast, everything slowly started unfreezing and the beast stretched his large scarred wings and flew towards the Reach. Then all turned pitch black for our young warrior as the sun sets he slowly awakened “Are you awake?” asked an orange curly-haired boy with unusually yellow eyes wearing a large mage’s robe “Hello there, My name’s Hendrick Omer of Windhelm. I saw you laying for dead at the town square of Markarth, You’re quite the survivor.” he added “Drink this.” as he handed the boy some fresh water. “Im Davion Montbard of Markarth, I owe you my life. Thank you, Henwick.” Hendrick looked at him and said “Hendrick, It’s Hendrick. No parents are sick enough to name their child Henwick.” They both laughed “Boy, you’re crazy thinking you could’ve took on that dragon.” He said while still laughing, Davion was silence for a moment then he said “It killed my father.” Looking straight towards the burning wood of the campfire, Hendrick’s smile faded “Oh.. well I.. I’m really, really sorry..” He said while running his hand through his face. Davion sat up and came close to the fire “It’s okay.”  Forcing to smile “So where you headed?” He asked “Nowhere, just a rogue mage looking for a purpose in this world, You?” Hendrick asked hoping for an exciting answer, then Davion suddenly remembered what he heard before he passed out “Something unusual happened earlier.” “Way to change the subject, bud!” Hendrick jokingly said “It talked to me.” Davion continued “What did?” curiosity juggled Hendrick’s head “The beast.” Davion answered “Oh no, no, no.. Dragons don’t talk, only Kondairas do.” “Kondairas?” Hendrick then opened his satchel and took out a tiny crystal “What’s that?” Davion asked again “A book” Hendrick smiled and then chanted “eraldatu!” placing his hand right above it as the crystal magically transformed into a some kind of ancient book for sorcerers. “You’re a sorcerer!” Davion was amazed “Not very quick, are we?” Hendrick said while chuckling then he open the book and inside were ancient writings “What does those words mean?” “I don’t even know!” Hendrick sarcastically  answered, then Davion aseptically looks at him “Well, yeah.. Of course, I do. I wont carry around a book I couldn’t read.” He flipped the pages quickly and went to a stop as he pointed to the page the contained the Kondairas. “Legendary creatures…” Davion read “Kondaira means legend in the vast lands of Maori, these are creatures far more dangerous than dragons and far more rare, these are magical creatures and nearly impossible to kill or even wound, encountering one would be a faith worst than death but alas the warriors of the land refuse to believe the tales and serge on a quest to find these unholy creatures. All failed, either they’ve never seen a Kondaira or never lived to tell the tale.” Hendrick closed the book and it magically transformed back into  small crystal and he placed it back in his satchel “It’s getting late the mountains of Druadach is more dangerous after dark, we should hit the hay before ogres or trolls see our fire and kill us.” Davion puts out their fire and they both get inside Hendrick’s magic tent near the tree. A couple of hours before sun rise they hear loud thumping outside their tent “Hendrick!” Hendrick looks at Davion “Ogre!” The thumping gets louder, They see a big shadow beside the tent and they hear a loud violent roar near them “RUN!” both burst out of the tent screaming and the run pass the ogre “Oh my god! Its hideous! azkarrago! modu azkarrago! ” as Hendrick chants, Davion notices they’re going faster by the minute. They both stop just below the Dragon bridge “What… wa-s that?” Davion said while they’re both trying to draw his breath “I.. al-ready told you! Oh-gre..” “No! Why- Why did we… I mean- What was that spell?” Hendrick took his water jug and refilled it “I cast a spell so we could run faster.”
