U couldn't sleep so u open ur bedroom door and walk into the kitchen to get a glass of water when u see Mario sitting there with his head down in the dark. U sit next to him, "u okay?" "I don't know" Mario says still with his head down. "U can talk to me.." u say. "I don't know what to say. That's the thing, Maddie, I don't know. My feelings, I don't know, have I been lying to her? I don't know" he says looking at u. "Mario..what are you trying to say?" U ask. "I don't know. I'm a mess. Ever since what happened between me and you." He says as u just stare at him not saying anything. "Okay, the thing is, on Christmas, the text Maddie sent wasn't supposed to go to me. But then I saw u liked Zach and not me. U had moved on. It was clear u liked him. And then ig I wanted to be with Maddie because u weren't there anymore. I don't know what I'm saying"
he says and ur still speechless. Then Mario kisses you, and you kiss back. Oh no. The feelings had come back. U pull away, "Mario.." u say as he stand up and darts to his room. U grab his hand and don't let me walk into his room. He turns around and faces you, "y/n, I've wanted to do that for awhile but.l you've been with Zach. And I don't wanna get between u and Zach so pls don't tell him. I just had to get that off my chest." "I'm... I won't tell anyone. But pls don't be lying, pls don't be telling me you like me when u like someone else pls." U say. "I'm not. And I'm gonna tell Maddie tomorrow..Ik I'm a bad person for ig playing people's feeling but I promise..I'm not lying." Mario says as he pulls his hand away and walks into his room. He closes his door and u dart to Tyler's room. U throw the door open and Tyler shoots up. "Yeah?" He asks sleepily. "Mario, likes me again and my feelings...ugh idk." U say flopping onto his bed. "Well, u like Zach?" He asks. "I don't know, I mean I do. But ig Zach has helped me block out Mario. But Mario..I think he rlly likes me and I think I might too." U say. "But Zach! He loves u!" Tyler says. "I know. And I love him too it's just Mario has me all mixed up and idk what to do." U say. "Okay, maybe wait a couple days and u might figure out who u like, but pls be with whoever makes u happy. It might hurt them, but if they want u to be happy" Tyler says. "Thanks, I'll sleep on it" u say getting up. "Goodnight" Tyler says. "Night!"
Mario's pov
U stare at ur pitch black ceiling running ur hands through your hair. "What am I gonna do, y/n likes Zach. But I like her and I want her back. I miss her, a lot. I should've fought for her. Why did I let her go?...now Maddie, she's a good friend. That's all. Ok that's it, y/m's gonna be mine again" u think to your self.
