Part 1- Shinies

WAYS TO GET SHINIES

Method 1- Friend Safari;

Instead of the 1/4096 chance of getting a wild random shiny (Not including Shiny Charms), the chance of encountering a shiny in the Safari Zone is severely dropped to 1/512. The only downside is that the Shiny Charm will not effect the Catch Rate of Shinies in any way.

Methods 2 and 3- Horde Hunting and Soft Resetting;

Method 2- To start with your Horde's, you're required to have the Move Sweet Scent or as many Jars of Honey as you can get. With the Shiny Charm included, the Encounter Rate to catch a Shiny in a horde is only around 1/1365. But, there are 5 Pokemon that appear during a Horde.

Method 3- In the games (I'm not sure, but I've been able to Soft Reset in ORAS XY and SoulHeart so far. I haven't tried for Diamond, and I'll try to reset my Pokemon Yellow Version.) you can quickly reset back to the main menu by holding L and R and pressing START and SELECT at the same time. Make sure to save infront of the Pokemon (Like during the Eon Flute rides there are these portals to Legendaries) and keep trying until you get a shiny.

Method 4- Chain Fishing;

To chain fish, really you only need a rod, a steady hand, and a Pokemon with Suction Cups or Sticky Hold. Do not move, fish from the same spot. If you move, you'll break your chain. If you receive the message "Nothing Seems to be Biting....." It'll break your chain. Reduce the chance of this by having that Pokemon with Suction Cups or Sticky Hold (Shellos or Malamar) in the front of your party.

Method 5- Masuda Breeding;

STEP BY STEP;

-Put two Pokemon that are compatible together in the Day-Care. Make sure that both Pokemon have different countries in their description.

-Use tools like the Oval Charm, O-Powers, and the Abilities Flame Body (Talonflame) or Magma Armor (Slugma)

-In XY, it is recommended that you use the Bike and ride Left to Right on the path with the painters infront of the Day Care
