~Ray's P.O.V~
I had signed as the bell that signified that my shift was over chimed. I pulled my apron with the grocery stores logo on it over my head and placed it in a small cubby whole with my last name labelled on it. It was time to go home. My favourite and least favourite part of the day at the same time, my favourite because I hated my job and I finally got to leave but the reason it was also my least favourite part of the day was due to the fact that my shift ended at 5pm about rush hour in downtown Ottawa so it would take me atleast half an hour to get back home. I had ended up talking to one of my coworkers for five minutes in the parking lot before leaving in my piss yellow sunfire. I hated a lot of things at this point in my life but if my job didn't take the cake it would of been my shitty car. It works half the time in summer and in the winter I always find myself riding the bus to and from work. I couldn't complain though, it was the only place I got some piece and quiet, since back at home the neighbours had 3 Rottweilers, they bark at literally anything, Soo 100% of the time those dogs are barking.
I had been sitting behind a Chevy Silverado by a intersection. Absolutely nobody was moving the street was so goddamned packed, I decided to turn on the radio and listen to what was going on. "I'm Don Brennan and you are listening to 103.9 THE BEAR" my car screeched. I jumped and quickly turned it down, I had forgotten that I had blasted the music last time I was in the car.
I was about half way home when I was jamming out to Jordan Belfort, when a Emergency Alert began to play over the radio on repeat, an auto tone woman's voice spoke, I was instantly filled with fear.
