"Don't talk back to me bitch......you have one hour to get all your stuff packed and outta my house before I call the police" He yelled at me
"I have no where to go" I told him
"Find some where" I spit and slammed the door.
I went to go sit on the bed for a few minutes and I ended up falling asleep.
I got woken up by the cracks of a belt on my skin he kept beating me
"STOP PLEASE" I yelled trying to pull the belt away from him
"NO BITCH" He yelled and me and kept beating me
When he was done he started pulling down my pants and I sated kicking like crazy after about 5 minutes he finally left out my room
He came back with a bottle of liquor and a cigarette
He thew the liquor on me the threw the bottle at my head and I felt blood running down my face
"AHHH STOP IT FUCKING HURTS" I yelled as loud as I can
He took a lighter and lit his cigarette and started to burn me with it. I started yelling and screaming again
About 5 minutes later I heard police sirens going off
They busted threw my room door and shot my father and put him in hand cuffs I was being put into a ambulance
Once at the hospital I was rushed into surgery they said I was loosing too much blood.
Devon's POV
I was sitting on the couch watching the news. And it said
Jermiah Lopez dad burialy beat by his Father and his StepMother. He in the hospital in surgery right now. The doctor's saidhe'sin critical condition. We don't know if he'sgonna survive or not.
I hurried out the my house grabbed my keys and locked my car and I drove to the hospital. I went to the hospital desk.
"Hello hi may I help you" she asked
"Um....yeah my cousin just got put in here" I told her
"Um yes who is he or she "
"It's Jermiah Lopez" I told her
"He's still undertaking surgery you can wait in the waiting room"
"Ok" I said and sat down in one of light green chairs.
5 hours later they called my name and told me he was in room 223.
Once I got up there I seen him laying down and the doctor hocking things on to him.
"Hello who might you be" The doctor asked me
"I'm his cousin" I told him
"Ok the surgery was good we'll wake him up in an hour or so He's lucky that the babies are ok. He's so young so I don't know if he wants to keep them or give them away. He's having twins, we already seen the gender because we had to do something on his stomach he's having a boy and a girl.......do you have any questions" he asked/told me
I shook my head 'no'
He went on
"Ok your the only family that we could get in contact with.....how old are you and do you live by yourself "
"I'm 17 and yeah " I told the doctor
"Can he live with you" he asked me
"Yeah of course" I told him with a smile
"Ok so you should get his stuff before he wakes up you should go it his parents are still in the house" The doctor told me
"Ok I'll be back" I told him
Once I went back to his house I seen police questioning the parents.
"Who are you" the officer asked me
"The doctor told me to came and get Jermiah's things" I told him and walked upstairs
Once I was done getting all his shoes and clothes I left out the house. And I went back to the hospital. I seen him awake when I got to his room.
"Hey" I said as I sat in one of the hospital chair
"Hey" he smiled at me
"So did they tell you" I asked him
"Tell me what" he said confused
"That your pregnant" I told him and raised my eyebrow
He broke down crying and shook his head
Then the doctor came in.
"So I'm assuming he told you" the doctor asked
"Yeah" Jermiah said sniffing
"Well are you gonna keep them or abort them" The doctor asked him
"I wanna keep them" he told the doctor quickly
"Ok I'm gonna get your sign out papers I'll be back and your gonna go home with Devon" the doctor told him and walked out
"Are you happy" I asked Jermiah
"Kinda......are you" he asked me
"Yeah I always wanted to be a dad" I told him and smiled
Once he signed the papers I took him to my house and now we're laying in our bed cuddling
"I love you" I told him
"I love you to" he smile and kissed me and we fell asleep
