Not very long ago, I visited the most extraordinary village that I had ever seen in years, it was made of ice and colored fabrics, the snowy climate gave the place an enchanted touch, and the villagers who looked like elegant porcelain dolls with rozy cheeks and gentle smiles, made me feel warm despite the cold. Everything was beautiful at day, but as twightlight came, evil grew.

I had heard that since the king and queen's daughter's death, the village was cursed with eternal cold. Legend has it that when the princess died she became winter itself, because she was born in the cold winter season. She refused to carry the job that Mr. winter had and didn't want to leave home, as a consequence, she brought bitter cold even in the hottest summer.

So, the reason of me coming here was to exorcise the supposedly sad spirit of the princess. It all started with the king's cousin, Francesco Alecciandro Gamantinni, who lived in some other village, but he is frequently snooping into the king's village's business, knew about my job. As it is very unpleasant to have an encounter with him, I tried to avoid him, but he is like the common cold, you can avoid it but you cannot run away from it.

He asked me to eliminate the wandering spirit without the king and queen's notice. The problem was that it was supposedly in the royal garden, so if I was caught it would imply me being accused as a stalker or a thief, and living 70 years in the dungeon or getting killed, and he wouldn't help me.

Hence the consecuences, it sounded like the perfect moment to escape my life in the city and the hot summer climate, so I could not refuse.

"I accept your offer, Lord Gamantinni"- I said

"Well done Mr. Klause, I will see you exactly at the first day of next week at sundown, do not be late"- he said.
