Hundreds of years in the past, their was a woman named Kaguya Otsutsuki who was also known around the world as the Rabbit Goddess. She was the first person to ever use chakra and had used it to stop all the wars. She was also the mother of 2 boys, Hagoromo and Hamura Otsutsuki. She loved them with all her heart and so, she gave them some of her chakra. Everything was fine, no changes in their life's whatsoever, until one day when her sons were out of the village.

Kaguya was sitting in her chair when she heard a knock on her door. So curious, she stands up and walks to go open it. Her long white hair drifts behind her as she uses her Byakugan eyes to see through the wall. What she sees surprises her, their was a clan of multicolored haired people outside her door, standing in the courtyard. Some had blue hair, blonde hair, even green and purple! She opens her door and steps out onto her patio. She notices that there aren't that many of them, at most, 10 to 15 people. A blonde man and a red-haired woman walk up to the front of the group.
'Hmm, must be the leaders of the clan.'Kaguya thought.
"Dear Lady Kaguya, we the people of the Haruno Clan wish to negotiate with you. If you'll hear our offer?"The man said. Kaguya nodded and he continued with his proposition.
"We want to be able to also use chakra, but in exchange for granting us the use of some of your chakra, we will also be a personal bodyguards of sorts. We will be a force of people that only you will be able to control, your personal tools."He finished. He reached out his hand to handshake while Kaguya thought about the offer.
'Hmm, I can see the benefit, but at the same time, they could very well betray me. Hmm, if they do decide to betray me, I'll just have to take them out.'Kaguya thought.
And with her decision, she extended her hand and they shook on it. As their hands met, she transferred some of her chakra through their contact and into him. He froze up before relaxing and gently pulling his hand away as he looked at himself as if he had never seen himself before. She smiled kindly as he sent her a bewildered expression. She herself remembered how she had felt when she had first had chakra. It was so exhilarating. The feel of having all that power flowing just under your skin, the hum of it waiting to be unleashed. She smiled as he flashed her a bright smile before she turned to the rest of his clansmen. She spread her hands and gave off part of her chakra to the rest of his clansmen and watched with a small kind smile as they all grinned brightly at her. Than she decided to let them know just what she had given them.
"I have given you a very special ability. It is an eye ability with 3 stages called a Dojutsu. The first stage is something that my son, Hagoromo, has. You have the Rinnegan, and the next stage is the Sinister Rinnegan, than the final stage is the Lover Rinnegan. The Sinister Rinnegan allows you to copy anything, except the third stage, The Lover Rinnegan. The Lover Rinnegan allows you to manipulate reality however you want. Anything you imagine will become real. Anyone who is born in your clan will be born with the first stage and after experiencing a strong emotion, they will activate the second stage. The third stage can only be activated when you meet someone who is worthy of your loyalty, worthy of your love."
And with that, she walked off and motioned for them to follow her. They walked through the forest with Kaguya in the lead as the people behind her followed with awed expressions. They all had their new Dojutsu activated and were all staring in wonder at everything around them.
After a few hours, they reached a clearing that was a good few miles away from the village. As soon as she reached the center of the clearing, she turned around and called forward the 2 leaders of the village.
