Temporary

   

I only realised now
Friendship is temporary
Love is temporary
Trust is temporary
 

Everything is temporary and it fcking sucks
   

Am I not destined
To be happy?
Am I not destined
To have a long lasting thing?
   

People just impose themselves
In our lives
Cause the wreck
And leave
   

They make us think
That they'll stay forever
Well...
Nothing lasts forever
And if it did
Forever was a temporary thing
  

I'm all alone now
All these years
Meant nothing to you

How can a "friend"
Not see that you're falling apart?
Maybe they do
And just ignore
Or maybe they don't
They never really understood
