Nobody knew how it started, at least not really. Okay, so maybe all of the smart scientists who created it know exactly how it began.
But they're all dead now.
I guess their research got a little out of hand. And now 95% of the population is dead.
Well, undead.
Not even the wealthy could have escaped this one. It spread over all of mankind, killing and wiping out millions in just a couple short months. They tried to contain it, but failed. Within six months, billions were dead wandering aimlessly through the streets searching for food in anything they saw move.
Countries spent all the money they had on research for a cure.
But no cure was found.
