Chapter 9 (Memorys POV)
I stood in the village center waiting for them to come back with all the others. It felt like hours...
"I see them!" Someone from the crowd yelled and the sound of howling was carried to me in the breeze.
"Memory!" My eyes went to glowing amber.
I gasped, for the suprise that Iris was passed out in his arms and that this boy was my best friend.
"E-Elrick?" I took a step back, my eyes growing wide.
"Hey Memory." He flashed me a smile "Its nice to see you again,"
The howling grew even louder and a black wolf ran into the clearing, his glare landing on Elrick.
"Iris!" The whole pack turned to stare at us.
"It's Ok everyone. I've come to bring her back...for a trade." Elricks voice echoed around the pack.
The black wolf growled slightly and shifted back, then William was running at Elrick at high speed.
"Stop!" I screamed and ran in between them.
William stopped at the last second and was standing inches away from me.
"Let him speak William. He was my friend in my village..." I looked at the ground and ignored all the stares from the pack.
William was breathing heavily, barely controlling his anger.
"Memory..." He placed a hand on my arm and it dropped down to my hand.
I took it and turned to Elrick "Whats the deal?"
Im so sorry I havent Updated in awhile and this chapters so short. I hoped you liked it and that it isnt to much like twilight...yuck. Anyway, got to go my phone is going to die.
