A mother thought it would be fun if she took her 6 year old son to the zoo to see the wild animals.
She watched as her son wore a sad and confused face all throughout their trip. When she asked him about it, he replied,
" Mommy, my teachers told me wild animals lived in forests in a free place. Why are they locked up in cages here, far from the forest?"
Her child understood the importance of independence, even for the animals while the adults were still oblivious. to it.
