chapter 4

Gabriella's POV

Its been a long fun week in school. I was already used to most of my classmates and same with them for me.
I liked the school already just in 2 weeks.

Just made sure I did not come in contact with that psyco head of school because that would be trouble and if there is one thing I don't like, its trouble.

Tony seemed very quiet and that is so unusual. Normally, he is usually mischievous and up to no good or around his girlfriend Sophie.

I was worried about this and decided to ask him since we are very close friends. But I had to be careful because Tony has anger problems which make him do dangerous things. Like he once gave a junior serious injury on the head with a plank just because he ignored him.

With the sweetest voice and the nicest way possible and touching his hand, I asked "Tony is anything the problem?"

Gently, he looked at me and said there was nothing wrong. I was not going to believe that and so I insisted on knowing.

After persistent asking, he decided to open up.
He was having some problems with Sophie and they were at the verge of breaking up. This was not the first time this was happening. Intact, Tony always told me when he and Sophie had problems and that was even how we became so close.

One afternoon, I received a chat request from an unknown contact so I asked for an identification, the person identified himself to be Tony.

I laughed and was confused because I knew Tony but only from a distance. I never spoke to him and even when he tried talking to me once, I snubbed him because I did not like him.
It was for no just reason, my nature did not just agree with his.

When we got chatting, he told me about his girlfriend and told me he needed help with her because they had serious issues going on.
But Sophie, Tony's girlfriend is Steve's ex so she kind of knew little about me.

I agreed to help Tony with her not because we were friends but just because i'm a nice person who would not want another person's relationship to be ruined when I can do something about it.

So he gave me an undercover identity.
I am to be Sonia, Tony's childhood bestfrind.
I did not want to lie to Sophie, but I had to because I cared.

Truly, as "Sonia" and Sophie got to know each other, we became friends. After I had helped with their problem where it seems Tony was the reason for.

Few days later, Tony told me he wants to break up with Sophie.

Furious, I asked what happened and tried to calm him down but he was not going to listen to me. If he breaks up, its going to counter all I told Sophie.

Since he was not listening to me, I became angry and told I just to hold on and let me tell her who I really am.

When I told Sophie, she was so shocked and angry but I would not blame her because I would have done the same if I were to be lied to.
I told her Tony was going to break up with her and she has to beat him to it so she does not get hurt too much.

After that incidence, I and Tony became real "best friends". Then I and Sophie began to relate closely. I would tell her if I was having problems and she would tell me hers also thereafter, we advice each other.

Now they were having problems again. I had to talk to Sophie and she cried throughout our discussion.

"Tony says he loves me but he always hurts me calling me names. I have given him everything but he does not seem to change. I just need a break from him" Sophie said.

I had an idea of how she felt so I did not try to convince her against it but instead I went Tony and scolded him of messing up all the time.

Sophie broke up with Tony but did not stop loving him she said. She told me she misses him and she got extremely jealous when he was getting too close to Amber because she knew Amber has a mega crush on him.

I just had to force myself to finish this chapter cos I'm really upset. I still finished it tho.
