FNAF: The Investigation

[Night 4]

This is gonna be a short one because there's not too much story in this one since Fnaf 1 was the last Freddy Fazbear location in the timeline.

I had just woken up and there's already a knock on my front door.
I yell at my parents that I've got the door, and I just see Sam standing behind it.
"Hey Sam," I say, "what's up, I thought I was seeing you later."
"I just wanted to come over and give you this," she says holding out an envelope to me.
I take it from her hand and open it to see a lanyard with a tag on the bottom that says: Afton Robotics Maintenance Intern.
"What's this," I ask her completely confused.
"It's your ticket at Circus Baby," she says, "your internship starts tomorrow. I lied on the application and said you were in college, so if they ask, you know."
I didn't know how I could thank her for this, it was really too much.
I was about to thank her when she stops me and looks me in the eyes with a serious face, "also, I just wanted to say, I can't do this. Last night was too much, and I can't go to any more places with those things."
She's leaving me, on probably the biggest turn up that can change our investigation. Granted, I'd have to go tomorrow, and I'm just gonna be scoping out the latest Freddy Fazbears that shut down a few years ago.
I guess she can have her way for this. She wanted to join and now she wants to leave, it's really her choice, I can't argue with her.

There's no way this was an actual Freddy Fazbears.
The place was creepy as hell, and the animatronics were the worst.
I mean, who thought it was a good idea to have these things around children.

Honestly, no wonder people were afraid of these, they should've been afraid before the incidents.
I hate just looking at them now.
And now I can see a Bonnie bot with his full face. I remember seeing the other one how all it had left was his jaw.
It was disturbing.
"Now," I say aloud to myself, "What could I find here?"
I pull out a flashlight and I start looking around and I see a set of doors that are boarded up.
My curiosity had now been peeked in interest. I go closer to it and pull out my crowbar and start pulling away at the boards.
One by one, the boards fell until I could a slip of yellow from inside. I kept at it until the door was finally opened.
Inside was just a bunch of crates, and old fliers, but the worst thing in there was a yellow Freddy suit. It had a purple hat and bow tie. But the eyes were empty, and it was rusted over. It looked dead.

I get a closer look and I see that Freddy is hollow, and empty, with some circuitry inside him, but he was empty.
Almost like Springtrap. Was he another suit that you could wear.
I take my eyes off him for a moment and go to walk away, but that's when I notice the doors.
They're cast iron frameware , and they're bent. Almost like something was hitting it, from inside the room.
My watch started emitting an alarm I had set that would warn me when midnight would come.
Metal crunches scraped the floor, and it was coming from behind me.
"Shit," I mutter beneath my breath as I run for it, feeling something almost grab me by my jacket.
I didn't think it would move because it would be empty.
I hate these things so bad.
I can see the security office and I get in there. Thank god that it's empty, otherwise I'd be dead right now.
I take a quick look at the room, and see some big buttons labelled "DOOR".
I pushed one and a big metal door slammed down from the ceiling.
"Whoa," I say, "I can see why they need this."
I put the other one down and just sit back and scroll through the cameras that I can see and I laugh seeing that I'm safe.
I accidently press a button and I hear a recording go off.
It was weird, I guess this guy left some words of wisdom for the guy who was going in after him.

(Sorry if the recording isn't the exact one from the game, it didn't come up so I went with the second best, sorry)
There were some things to follow, check the cameras and..., CONSERVE POWER?! I didn't know I had to conserve power in this place.
I use the indicator and I'm already at 50%.
I unlock the doors and see the power level steady.
I check the cameras and all three of them are on stage, and they're looking at me.
All of a sudden the screen turns fuzzy and I try to put it back to normal, and when I do, they're all gone.
I check the other cameras and Bonnie is in the dining area, Chica is in the Parts and Service room, and Freddy has just dissappeared.
I look away from the cameras to check outside and he's not in the halls.
"How do I lose a giant bear," I ask aloud. I keep checking the cameras and I see the curtains of Pirates cove open. But there wasn't anything there.
I hear footsteps that are really fast, I hear them coming from the left, so I slam the door shut, and I hear him slam against the door.
His hook now taunting me as it scrapes along the glass.
I have never felt more fear.
I try to back away from the door and I feel something behind me. I don't look back but instead I feel dread.
Well, these are my last moments now.
I hang my head and turn around to see the yellow Freddy right there.
He doesn't attack me though, he just looks at me.
He pops for a second and motions towards himself.
He starts to open up and it looks like he wants me to climb in.
I just look at him and nods before I could even ask the question. Without thought, I climb inside of him. And he starts to envelope around me, without crushing me.
I can see everything he sees, but I'm not dying.
There's something carved in the face.

Stay calm
Don't sweat
Don't get wet

I guess I should avoid the soda fountain I'm here now.
I start to walk and I feel good.
The other animatronics just walk around without giving me a second glance.
This is actually working.
I might survive this.

And just before I new it, it was 5 o'clock.
The animatronics crawled back to their stages, and Yellow Freddy released me.
"Thank you Goldy," I say as he walks back to his room.

Sorry guys if this was short compared to the other chapters.
I was in a rush and I need to work as hard as I can for tomorrow because tomorrow is going to be Sister Location. It's gonna be good.
