I rolled over to check the time on the alarm clock. It took me a minute to adjust my eyes to the light. When I could see I noticed a piece of lined paper folded in front of the alarm clock.

'Sorry I didn't wait for you, I was super hungry and had too much energy to stay in bed. I'm probably outside playing football. oh yeah.. and good morning cutie ;-)

H <3'

I smiled and set the paper down on the table. The clock read 10:37. I sighed and got out of bed. Then walked out of Harry's room into my own and started looking for something to wear. I pulled on a pair of black underwear and a hot pink bra. After going through all my clothes, twice. I decided on a white crop tank and black high waisted denim shorts with studded pockets. With my hair pulled into a ponytail I walked down my set of spiral stairs. I checked in each of the boys rooms, I was the last one up. I went down stairs into the living room, which was also empty. Then heard a loud splash come from outside.

"Great job Niall! Now look what you did!" Louis called. The boys all laughed.

I moved into the kitchen and poured myself a glass of juice. I could see Louis, Niall and Harry outside on the grass. It looked like Niall had kicked the ball into the pool. The ball was floating in the center of the pool and the three boys were arguing over who had to got get it. Liam sighed and got off of the lawn chair he had been sitting. He pulled off his shirt, jumped into the pool and threw it to the boys.

I grabbed a muffin from the container on the counter and walked out onto the patio. I looked around and spotted Zayn on the stairs smoking a cigarette.

"Morning," I smiled as I sat on the stairs beside him.

"Morning," He smiled back and passed me a cigarette.

"Thanks," I put it between my lips and he lit it.

"So I see you fixed Harry," He said suggestively.

"You just have to know what to say."

"You put a lot of pep in his step," He laughed.

"You're one to talk. You know not too long ago Louis was making the same jokes about you," I eyed him carefully and blew out a puff of smoke.

"Well not anymore, I'm about to be a married man."

"How is he?" I asked, changing the subject.

Zayn just smiled for a minute, amused by my change of subject. "Better," He said reassuringly.

"Are they talking?" I looked over at the boys playing football. Liam joined them and was dripping wet from the pool.

"A little. Louis pulled him aside from breakfast this morning and talked to him. I don't know what he said but they're acting alright. Not as close as usual but Harry doesn't seem mad anymore."  Zayn looked out at the boys then his expression got more serious and he turned back to me. "Apparently Louis slept in Liam's room last night. Liam said he cried through most of the night." Zayn whispered.

"Really?" I was surprised. I knew Louis was upset, but he isn't usually very open with it.

"How does it feel? To have to pretend you don't love someone? To have to hide it from the world. When I announced that Perrie and I were engaged, it felt amazing. You just want to yell it from the rooftops. How do you hide a love like that?" Zayn flicked the ash off the end of his cigarette.

"I wouldn't know, but it's bad...... terrible." I murmured.

"How do you do it?" Zayn asked, turning back to the boys.

"Do what? watch them go though it all?"

"No. You. How do you hide how you feel. We all see how you and Niall look at each other. It's the exact same way Harry and Lou look at each other." Zayn asked looking me in the eye.
