A Dog Isn't Just a Pet

Filled with time-travelling adventures of an advanced canine and his adopted son, as they endeavor to fix a time rift they created. A 2014 American 3D computer-animated comic comedy science fiction film which is an adaptation of the Peabody's Improbably History segments of Rocky and Bullwinkle.Mr.Peabody and Sherman will leave you amazed for 2 hours.

Mr.Peabody is a gifted anthropomorphic dog who has an adopted human son, Sherman.He tutors Sherman travelling throughout history using the WABAC, a time machine. Sherman attends Susan B. Anthony School in New York City.His knowledge of the apocryphal nature of the George Washington cherry-tree anecdote leads to a fight with Penny Peterson in the cafeteria.Peabody is called in by Principal Purdy who tells Peabody that Sherman had bit Penny.He is also confronted by Ms.Grunion,a Child Protective Services agent, who implies that Sherman's
behavior is due to being raised by a dog.Despite Peabody's contrary instructions,Sherman shows Penny the WABAC.

The movie was filled with different eras and tales of history.The comedic scenes will brought you laughters.It also shows you that even if Mr.Peabody is an incredibly intelligent dog he still has a hard time of being a parent. It is something that he can't learn on books.Also, I felt bad that his parenting skills is underestimated just because he's a dog.

It was sad when Ms.Grunion calls the Animal Control to collect Mr.Peabody and tells that a dog can not raise a boy. Meanwhile,I was also touched when Peabody says to the Judge the reason why it should be legal that a dog can raise a boy.He stated that he wanted Sherman to feel what he always wanted to feel which is having a HOME.

The good part was when Sherman tells Ms. Grunion that if being a dog means being loving and loyal as Mr. Peabody is then he is proud to be a dog too.In conclusion,the movie is trying to tell us that being different is not bad, like in the movie, it's odd to hear a dog adopting a human which resulted to my curiosity as how it will be and ended up fascinated to the film.
