"Taylor, truth or dare?" Emily asked. I thought about it, last time I had picked truth and everyone else had been picking dare. Why not? What's the worst that could happen? "Dare," I say confidently. Emily gives me a scary grin; I knew this couldn't be good. She was looking at a guy across the cafeteria. Oh no, ever since my ex-boyfriend and I of three years broke up because of him cheating on me, which I forgave multiple times, she's been trying to hook me up with pretty much any guy she sees. "I dare you to go ask that guy over there in the red shirt for his number," Emily says, everyone starts giggling and I can feel my face getting red. I get up and take my phone out ready to make a new contact. I walk up to him and try not to say anything stupid. "Hi um, my friends dared me to come over here and ask for your number." He was cute, but not my type. I give him my phone and he types his name and supposed number in. When he's done, he gives me my phone back. For some reason, I don't feel like it's his number. I hit the call button, and his phone doesn't start ringing. I give him a look then I hear a voice coming from the phone. "Hello? Hello? Who is this? How did you get my number?" I put the phone to my ear and say, "Hey sorry to bother you. I was dared to get this guy's number, but he gave me yours, I'm so sorry to bother you I won't call again." I hit the end button and head back to the table.
