Okay guys, this is my first book/story, so please bear with me. Comment what you think and i'll read what you have to say about it.
"But dad, i don't want to move, this isn't fair, i have friends here and this is everything i've known, i grew up here, in this house, i don't want to move!" Skyler complains, folding her arms over her chest, looking at her dad sitting at the table looking over the local news paper.
"Sometimes you have to go out of your comfort zone, i think that this will be a good thing, new school, new house, new town, new life, we can start fresh pumpkin." Skyler's dad says not looking up from the news paper in his hands
"but dad..." Skyler trailed off, looking for something else to say to try and change his mind about moving, i don't want to move, if mom were here she would be on my side, but she's not. Skyler thought with a frown, her arms still folded over her chest.
"nothing you can say can possibly change my mind, i'm sorry but my mind has been made up, pack up we move in a week." Skyler's dad says looking up from the news paper at Skyler.
"hmmph." Skyler mumbled and walked off to her room, slamming her door behind her, ever since mom died it's been pretty hard for her and her dad, Skyler's dad wants to move because he doesn't want to be constantly reminded of her mom, everywhere Skyler goes she feels her mother there with her, it's kinda calming, especially when she's upset over anything, her moms presence is still here and she doesn't want to leave her moms spirit behind, and she really doesn't want to leave her best friend behind.
Ashley Hurrell, Ashley was there for Skyler when her mom died, they've been best friends since they were 4, she could never leave her best friend behind, they were like sisters.
what am i going to do? Skyler thought, sitting on the side of her bed, tears start rolling down her cheeks and she quickly wipes them away, sighing as she looked around her bedroom, homework piled on her desk in the corner of her room, standing up and walking over to it, sitting down in the chair directly in front of the desk, reaching her hands behind her head, pulling back her shoulder length brown hair into a pony tail, moving her side swept bangs out of her eyes, she opens her history book and begins reading it.
